Take a picture of whats in front of you right now!
... And then post it here. (As long as it's not confidential or explicit! 😂) 𝗜 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂! No explanation, or context, but do tag two other people in here. I just want to see life through your world for a second.👀

It's Mondaaaayyyyy Moooorniiiiing!!!
Good morning! Personally, I love Mondays! Don't get me wrong, I love the weekends too, which are normally strictly reserved for my family and friends (When we don't have a community to launch), I just love having a full 5 days ahead where I can build stuff and make things happen. Don't feel bad if you're in the hate Mondays club. In fact, feel EXCITED because you've made the first step and you're in the perfect place to change that! Our mission is to help you discover that one thing that you literally can't wait to jump out of bed to get started on. (Even if that one thing is sitting around a pool sipping on a piña colada.) If that's what you want, we're here to help you get that. My Monday always starts with 90 minutes in the gym which is where I am right now writing this between sets. This little bit of 'me time' not only helps keep me fit and trim, But it also gives me some time to think and to figure out the priorities of the day. (The things that will really move my dreams forward) I'd love to know how you lot start your week.. Do you love Monday mornings yet?

@Adam McCollough Apprenticeship, that's actually what I have to go hunt up this morning... potential sponsors. I need to go back to tradeschool because currently my situation dictates that a minimum wage job here won't meet the financial needs unless I work 3 or 4 of them.

Hey you lovely lot 👋 If you’re reading this, you’ve made it into How to Start a Business with No Money (The official Startup with Adam Community) Welcome aboard!. We are so happy to see you, and look forward to getting to know you better, learn where you are and where you want to be with your business, and help you get there. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞!? Not everyone is lucky or privileged enough to have a rich Daddy with a small million dollar seed fund to help kickstart their ventures. I certainly didn't. we were dead poor growing up, and I was bankrupt at the age of 23. There was no such thing as crowd funding, or kickstarter funds in my day... Just a bank manager. And if they didn't like your idea then you had to build your thing without it! I've done OK, but I can't teach you everything you need to know on my own, so I've assembled a team of people who have all pledged to help you in their specific area of expertise. We have built this community for people who want to build a real business without a big budget, with support from Resident Experts who actually show up to help. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭? 1. Create a new post and tell us all about what you do and what you are hoping to learn from us in the Welcome Lounge. It's also a great place to hang out and meet other like minded people and make connections. 2. Go and check out the Meet the Resident Experts page, so that you can learn about all of us that shape this community. 3. If you have a specific question, then create a new post under the Ask a Resident Expert category. If you know who you want to answer your question then tag them in it. 4. Enjoy being part of the community! We're really glad you’re here. We look forward to getting to truly know you and helping you build your business however we can. If you haven't quite figured things out yet, that's fine too. Just hang around, ask questions and learn. If you are a seasoned expert yourself, then please feel free to join in, post value and help others here.

Will do all of this as soon as I can actually do something other than comment... almost there.
The very first step to start a business
Is validating your idea. Knowing if people will buy what you sell. There are a few different ways to do that, but they are either slow or expensive. Counting on family and friends usually backfires, as they will often discourage you, because they don't understand, or give fake validation because they don't want to hurt your feelings. You can pay for consultants to tell what you should do and auditors to point out the flaws in your work. That's expensive. You can also test by advertizing everywhere, but that takes a lot of work, and also money if you do paid traffic. So what is the alternative? Conect with people on communities like this one or mine, so people can validate what you're building without the need to pay for expensive professionals to do so. Seek out to people yourself by building real connections. Don't spend your time just wondering what you should be doing and bashing your head, thinking you should figure everything out by yourself. Test things out, seek feedback, apply what you learn and keep improving! What is the main thing you'd like to get feedback on?

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster So maybe doing both would be the better approach? Do my "course" as initially planned but be prepared to do "on demand" answers in case someone asks something that I haven't covered in the courseware yet. I could always retask any on-demand content to the courseware when I get to that part...

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster I'll work on some edits this morning for Tech SKool and see how I can work that in. Thank you muchly for the feedback :)

My IRL friend @Sam De la haye popped in after her run with Emily this morning, And because she had a really crappy day yesterday said she's been thinking about getting a tattoo. So I drafted her one to try... Of course I did it wrong and the word should have been break down to break through so at least I'm not a real tattoo artist and it was just done with a pen! 😂

@Sam De la haye I can relate, I've actually been looking into going back to Trade School just to take the load off my brain.
