Hi Everyone! I’m Roseline – Excited to Be Here!
Hey all! 👋 I’m Roseline, and I’m so excited to be part of this amazing community! I’ve been a self-published author for a while now, and I’m passionate about helping other writers take their stories from idea to published book. Whether you're just starting or already have a book out, I know how overwhelming the process can be—and how rewarding it is once your book is out in the world. 📚✨ A little about me: I’ve published many fiction, non-fiction book, and helped several authors with things like writing, editing, formatting, and book marketing. I love connecting with other authors and sharing tips on how to make the self-publishing journey smoother. Outside of writing, I’m always up for discussing new book ideas, marketing strategies, or even sharing a cup of coffee while talking about our favorite reads. ☕📖 I’d love to get to know all of you and hear about your writing journeys! What’s your book about? What stage are you at in the self-publishing process? Feel free to drop a comment—I’m here to help and learn from all of you! 🙂 Looking forward to connecting and supporting each other!

@Brittney Dunnigan Character development can be a process! Making a protagonist relatable often comes down to giving them authentic motivations, vulnerabilities, and flaws. What specific issues are you trying to iron out with your character? Is it their backstory, dialogue, or maybe their decision-making? Sharing more about the challenges you're facing might help me offer more targeted advice!

@Brittney Dunnigan Dialog can be tricky! Making it sound natural and authentic can be key to making your character relatable. Here are some potential areas to explore: 1. Unique voice: Does your character's dialogue sound distinct and true to their personality? 2. Subtext: Are there underlying emotions or motivations that could be hinted at through their words? 3. Consistency: Does their dialogue align with their character traits and background? Would you like some specific tips on crafting compelling dialogue or exercises to help you get into your character's voice?
