Today is hand/ wrist resting day. After 20 years in the floral industry, I can tell you that being a florist is hard on the hands! From processing flowers and cutting stems to designing bouquets and creating wedding installations, our hands rarely get a break. Many florists experience sore hands, aching wrists, and repetitive strain injuries from the countless hours spent creating beautiful floral designs. Carpal tunnel syndrome is especially common among florists due to the repetitive motions and gripping required every day. Tingling fingers, numbness, weakness, and wrist pain can all be signs that our hardworking hands need a little extra care. It’s a reminder that behind every bouquet is a florist whose hands have poured years of skill, creativity, and love into their craft. ❤️ A little appreciation for all the hardworking florist hands out there. 🌸✂️👐 If your just starting out, please take breaks, stretch and ice when needed ✋
