That's a tough truth right there!! I know there are a few things probably everyone tolerates that we need to stop both in professional settings and personal settings. But to name two of mine: 1. Professional setting, receiving payment late. Too many times I am sympathetic and do not charge the late fee for late payment which leads to continued late payment. 2. Personal setting, always rearranging my schedule or dropping everything to help family/friends who need help. But accepting that many of them will not do the same for me. I guess to fix these issues 1. Would be to stick to the late payment policy without remorse. 2. Would be to STOP and think about the situation before jumping into helping immediately. That pause might turn into a "i am sorry I am unable to help" or maybe it turns into me still helping but in my own time without breaking prior engagements. Honestly I think this is also about self worth too. Good stuff!!
