Luke 3: 1-20 Notes
We went deep into: • John the Baptist and the wilderness season • repentance as change of mind, not shame • fruit, roots, and what God heals beneath the surface • obedience over outcomes• grace vs striving • why growth can feel heavy when God is exposing deeper layers • trusting the Lord one day at a time A reminder for every woman in process: You are not behind. You are being formed. If you’ve been feeling stretched, convicted, tired, or hungry for more of God… this one will meet you there. Go watch when you have quiet time tonight or this week and let the Word wash over you 🤍

Where is everyone from?
hey sisters 🤍 i wanna do something a little different today… where is everyone from? drop your city and state (or country if you’re outside the US) in the comments 👇🏽 i’ve been praying about future meet ups… like real life hugs, coffee, Bible studies, sitting together in His presence, not just through a screen but in the same room 🕊️ i know this community is online, but it doesn’t have to stay that way forever. there’s something so special about gathering, about being seen, about doing life with other women who love Jesus. so this is me starting to map it out… seeing where we’re all scattered, where the Lord might be gathering us 👀 even if it’s just a few of you in the same area… that could turn into something beautiful. don’t overthink it, just drop where you’re from 🤍 you never know who’s near you 🫶🏽

Yes!
You are allowed to step back.
Hey my loves 🤍 I just want to gently remind you of something that is really important for this space… This is not a place to perform. This is a place to receive. You do not have to show up here as the most active, the most articulate, or the most “on fire” version of yourself to belong. This is not a stage. This is a table. And at this table, you are allowed to be fed. If you haven’t been as active as you thought you would be… that is not failure. I am not counting you out. I am not measuring your presence by your participation. There is no pressure here to prove anything. This space is a resource. It is here for you. You can come in quietly. You can sit and listen. You can take what you need. You can step away and process. And when you’re ready, you can come back and engage. Some of you have already experienced that rhythm… coming in, receiving, then stepping back to let the Lord minister to you more deeply in private. That is not distance. That is discipleship. Even Jesus lived this way. He was deeply present with people… teaching, loving, walking in community. But He was also deeply private. He would withdraw. He would go away. He would be alone with the Father. There was a public ministry… and there was a private intimacy. And the power of His public life flowed from His private one. So if you’ve been in a quiet season with the Lord… if you’ve been wrestling, processing, healing, or even struggling to feel close to Him… I don’t want you to come back in here bashful or apologetic. I want you to come back covered in grace. I want you to come back proud of the fact that you stayed with Him… even if it felt messy, even if it felt silent, even if it didn’t look “spiritual.” And when you have something to share, whether it’s clarity, confusion, revelation, or just honesty… bring what feels right. This is a safe place for your real walk with God. You are allowed to step back. And you are always welcome to step back in. No pressure. No performance. Just presence.

What’s the meaning of your name?
hey my loves 🤍 I wanna do something a little fun but also… lowkey deep. last week at my church Bible study we started talking about the meanings of our names, and it really stayed with me. my name is Jasleen, and it has Punjabi and Sanskrit roots. my mom is Puerto Rican, English was her second language in 1995, and when she named me… she had no idea what it meant. but years later, I’m practicing yoga, learning Sanskrit, hearing my own name spoken in that language… and realizing my name means: “one who is absorbed in the praises of One God” “a soul immersed in worship” “she who lives in devotion and praise” and what’s wild is that it comes from a culture with thousands of gods… and here I am today , saved, worshipping the One true God. like… the Lord really writes stories deeper than we even understand at the time. and we see this all throughout scripture God uses names, changes names, calls people into identity through their names. so now I’m curious about you 🤍 what’s your first name? what does it mean if you know and how do you see that connecting if at all to your life, your story, or your relationship with God no pressure if you don’t know the meaning yet… you can even look it up and come back 👀 I just feel like there’s something beautiful in seeing how intentional God is… even in things we didn’t choose. can’t wait to read these 🕊️✨

Well my mom made up my name last minute and it’s a combination of my mom, my dad and grandma - Romaylee Ro (Roberto), May (Mayra), Lee (Lydia) So since the name doesn’t really exist I had to look up the root meanings which are: The Hebrew name Rom (רוֹם) means "exalted," "high," or "lofty". In Hebrew, "Ay" (often spelled Ayin or Ain, עַיִן) generally refers to the eye, signifying perception, knowledge, and understanding In Hebrew, the name Lee (often spelled Li or לִי) means "to me," "for me," or "mine".
