Post Launch Setup
Hey Mikey, two questions about life after launch. I'm a solo founder about to submit a Base44 app (React web app wrapped in a Capacitor native shell, loading live via server.url) to the App Store and Google Play for the first time. 1. Security bugs and errors My current setup: - Sentry for error tracking, with the DSN delivered through a Base44 backend function What I'm unsure about: how do you get alerted when something breaks in production, and how do you triage and ship fixes without burning credits or causing regressions? Do you do ongoing security audits, or only pre-launch? 2. Marketing and analytics My current setup: - ActiveCampaign for lifecycle email, with tags tracking subscription status, engagement, and acquisition source - OneSignal for push notifications - RevenueCat plus Stripe for subscription data - - What I'm unsure about: what do you track to measure activation, retention, and conversion? And how do you turn that data into product decisions instead of building on gut feel?

Thanks @Mikey No Code, this is gold. Answering your two questions: What the app does: PerkFinder is a freemium birthday perks app for iOS and Android. It shows restaurant and retail birthday deals near you across all 50 states. Premium adds expiry reminders for favorited perks and full access past the paywall. Subscriptions run through RevenueCat for native IAP. Activation moment: My working definition is a user saving their birthday AND favoriting their first nearby perk. Signup alone isn't value. Seeing a real perk near you that you plan to use is. That raises my follow-up. Birthday perks are seasonal: the real payoff comes once a year, in the user's birthday month. Standard D7 and D30 retention will look terrible by design. How would you measure retention and activation for a once-a-year use case? I'm planning a Happy Hour deals feature partly to create a weekly reason to come back. New question: customer support. How do you handle support inquiries, and what have you automated? My current setup: • Support email • In-app "Report Incorrect Info" that logs to a PerkReport entity, auto-flagging after multiple distinct reporters • A UserFeedback entity for in-app feedback • In-app account deletion plus a public delete-account page • ActiveCampaign for lifecycle email, OneSignal for push What I'm trying to figure out: • Do you use a help desk tool, or just an inbox? • Can you auto-route in-app reports and feedback to email or Slack, so I'm not checking the database manually? • How do you handle App Store and Google Play reviews alongside direct messages? • Any AI or FAQ deflection worth setting up at launch, or is manual fine at low volume? • Is there anything missing from this setup you'd add before launch?
