I’ve been thinking about a common saying in Christian business circles...
ā€œPray like it depends on God, work like it depends on you.ā€ I understand the heart behind it—but I think it subtly misses the biblical posture. Scripture doesn’t call us to divide our lives between dependence in prayer and self-reliance in work. That division is closer to the post-fall way of labor than the gospel way. The Bible points us to something different. I work diligently—not because everything depends on me—but because my work is unto the Lord. And I trust Him with the outcomes, the provision, and the details. I plan. I execute. I show up with excellence. But I don’t carry the weight of being the source. ā€œCommit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.ā€ — Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV) ā€œA man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.ā€ — Proverbs 16:9 (NKJV) ā€œUnless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it.ā€ — Psalm 127:1 (NKJV) In business, working like it depends on me produces anxiety, fear, and hustle-driven decision-making. Working from trust in Him produces clarity, obedience, and peace. This doesn’t lead to passivity. It leads to rested diligence! (That will preach!) I don’t build to secure myself. I steward what I’ve been given—and trust God to establish what lasts. Curious how others have wrestled with this tension between faith, work, and rest—especially in business.

New Podcast Episode Drop
This journey of entrepreneurship has been flat out challenging and working through the fear has been real, Sunday I felt like giving up and this morning God lead me to this verse in the Bible. I unpack that in this episode. Experiencing Fear in Business? Read This In The Bible https://youtu.be/OtI-sNg261o

@Owen Sinclair I have been head down building my real estate business. I have also been diving deep into biblical topics. The nerd me, dives deep on some things. I recently heard about how Psalm 19 may articulate some recent discoveries in physics that have already been established in the Bible….exciting times!

@Owen Sinclair I will share what I have been learning for sure
Slightly off topic, but I want your thoughts
In our latest episode — ā€œBuddhist Monk vs Biblical Peace — Are We Missing the Truth?ā€ — Angel and I dig into a question few stop to ask: When a Buddhist monk travels ā€œin the name of peace,ā€ is that the same peace promised in the Gospel? We compare what ā€œreal peaceā€ looks like according to Christ with what ā€œpeaceā€ is often framed as in other faiths. We unpack: - Why Buddhism’s version of ā€œpeaceā€ can feel profound — calm, detachment, inner stillness — but may fall short of the lasting, soul-level peace Christ offers. - Where true Biblical peace diverges: hope, grace, identity in Jesus, relationship with God — not just inner quiet. - How faith in Jesus changes the question from ā€œCan I find peace?ā€ to ā€œHave I found the One who brings peace.ā€ ā–¶ļø Watch/listen here: https://youtu.be/_Bihf62mtPM If you’ve ever wondered whether all ā€œpeace teachingsā€ lead to the same destination — this one’s for you. šŸ’¬ Share your thoughts. What does true peace mean to you?

@Arpita Mokle lets go!!
I’m Torn
Finding My Lane: Business, YouTube, AI… and the Word of God I want to share something real with you today, because many of you are building businesses, families, and dreams while also trying to stay grounded spiritually. For the past few days, I’ve been wrestling with something: On one hand, I’m deep in the trenches building my real estate business, learning YouTube, experimenting with AI, and figuring out what actually drives traction. On the other hand, I have a deep desire to share the Word of God, because Scripture is literally the only thing keeping me steady while building this thing from the ground up. And to be transparent—I haven’t gotten the traction I hoped for yet. I’m still working to get momentum. I’m still figuring it out like everybody else in here. But here’s what I’ve learned: I don’t have to choose between being an entrepreneur and being a disciple of Christ. The Bible never separates the two. Paul built tents and preached. Joseph solved economic problems and interpreted dreams. Daniel served in government and brought the wisdom of God into Babylon. Their work was their ministry. So instead of choosing one or the other, I’m leaning into both. Going forward, here’s what you can expect to see from me inside this community: 1. Real documentation of how I’m building my businesses YouTube strategies, AI systems, marketing fundamentals, what’s working, and what’s not. 2. Practical training and tools Because we’re all here to grow, make money, and build something that lasts. 3. Scripture-centered encouragement and guidance Not as an add-on, but as the foundation. Because business is hard, and the Word of God is where clarity and courage come from. My goal is simple: To help you grow your business while staying anchored in Biblical truth and becoming the kind of leader God can trust with influence. If that resonates with you, stay tapped in. This next season, I’m building more intentionally, more transparently, and more aligned with what the Lord has put on my heart.
