I’m Kathryn (on the left in the photo), and I co-founded Fractly with Kirsty back in October after we’d both spent years working freelance in marketing. Fractly isn’t a traditional marketing agency. Instead, we connect businesses with flexible, on-demand marketing support through a network of trusted freelancers across the UK. There are no long contracts, no retainers and no minimum spend, so support can scale up or down as cash flow and workload change. We like to think of marketing as a utility, a bit like electricity or WiFi. Sometimes more support is needed, sometimes less, and businesses shouldn’t have to commit to more than they actually need. We help plug in the right marketing support at the right time, whether that’s social media, ads, websites, SEO, graphic design or email marketing. We also offer small business rates because budgets can be tight when getting started or growing. We started Fractly after seeing businesses struggle to access affordable, flexible and fair marketing support, while many talented freelancers struggled to find fair, consistent opportunities (and solo freelancing can be lonely and come with it's own challenges). The aim was to build something more flexible and fair for everyone involved. We now have a team of 11 incredible freelancers across the UK.
