🎬 Raw footage → the ShipMode intro video I gave an AI agent my raw recording and used LaunchClip, an open-source project I’m building, to produce the edit. It handled: ✂️ Bad takes, cuts and pauses 🔍 Zooms and transitions 💬 Captions and animated highlights 🖥️ Motion graphics and screen recordings 🔊 Sound effects and background music LaunchClip includes an art-direction skill backed by scripts for editing, rendering and checking the result. I supplied the footage, then added branding and short recordings of my GitHub repositories and the ShipMode classroom. The agent did the editing. I reviewed previews and gave feedback a couple of times. Some graphics were too repetitive. Some animations didn’t explain the idea. Some cuts needed fixing. Those lessons are going back into the workflow so future videos need less intervention. 🎵 For the music, I used ElevenLabs music_v2_5 to generate an instrumental retro computer track, mixed underneath my voice. 🚀 The goal is eventually one-shot: raw footage in, a polished video with motion graphics out, ready for review. This version took several iterations. It’s still developing, and feedback is very welcome. 🎥 Watch the finished video on the About tab. 🔗 Code and setup instructions: https://github.com/rogerchappel/launchclip It’s available from source—not published on npm yet. What would you try it on: a product demo, tutorial, or introduction video?
