Hi, I’m Robyn from Winnipeg, Manitoba. I am a Music Therapist and have loved the sound of the handpan for a long time. Just recently I was in Vancouver visiting my son and had the chance to play one and fell in love with it even more and decided I wanted to buy one as therapy for myself. I found Peacepans in Hamilton, Ontario and bought an amazing D Equinoz 13 made by Luc Dupuis. I’ve had the handpan for almost two weeks now and play it every day. I find I just get lost as I play and before I know it I’ve been playing for 2 hours. I came across Justin on Instagram and now excited to connect with other players. I love playing outside whenever I can. I will try and attach a video of me playing when I was camping the weekend of June 6th. I had only had the handpan for two days at this point so just had some fun exploring what the handpan sounded like. I look forward to connecting with everyone and learning new skills together.

@Justin Ezor I’ve actually gone through the Basics and Fundamentals course and use a lot of that as part of my daily practise routine so thank you for those videos. They have been awesome! Last weekend I had my son record me playing. Still trying to figure out the best way to record to get a good sound but here’s what we did. (Hope this works) Any advice on how to get a better sound? And any suggestions on my song?
Off topic but…
I assume some of you might like hearing the didgeridoo too? When I get better with the handpan, I’ll practice combining the two. Enjoy. 🍂

This is amazing David! Thank for sharing. My main instrument is clarinet. I’ve done some recordings with my son and looking forward to seeing how the clarinet could work with my Handpan. We already have some ideas but just need to gain a bit more confidence on the handpan. Thanks again for sharing this.

Hi there, I'm Marc. I first saw a Handpan in 2003 in Paris played by a guy with locks...loved it immediately but...wasn't able to afford one at this time and it started to become complicated with PanArt letter policy and waiting list. I was living above for 15 years, travelling from one country to another and forgot a bit the instrument... I'm now playing everyday since November 2022, without real organisation in my playing, but started last month a 2 hours per day playing planning that I'm now structuring...😅 I live in Marseille, France, don't work anymore, I will stay an amateur player, and the 5 players I love the most are Kabeçao (I did a 6 days residence with him last year), Mar Loi (I go to a 5 days residence with her in 2 weeks), Laurent Sureau, Quentin Kayser and Alexandre Lora. On the attached picture I have Kabé's Yishama "Astronaut" on my lap.... 🙏 All the best to you all. Marc

I am a music therapist in Winnipeg, MB. I just bought my first handpan to use for my own self care as I love the sound and how relaxing it can be.
