Beatles cover and music video
Hey everyone, I'm very excited about this instrumental Beatles cover on my new EP, and it comes with a scenic music video too - filmed in south-east Australia's misty rainforests. If that sounds interesting, please give it a watch and a like (I'm trying to crack YouTube, haha) https://youtu.be/WfkNy9twi54 Cheers, Max

Beautifully done.
welcome buddy! introduce yourself + share a pic of your guitar 🎸🦦
let's get to know each other. comment below, sharing a photo of your (current fav) guitar, how you got into making instrumental guitar music, and maybe what you do besides making music. I'm happy to have you here 🫶🏼 PS: oh also please feel free to link your music! PPS: there's also an app of Skool btw. which makes keeping up with what's happening in here a little easier.

Hello Everyone, my name is Robert and I live in Louisiana. My guitar journey began later in life than most, but better late than never. I started with a used Squire Stratocaster and small amp I bought off a guy for $50. I figured if I didn’t stick with it I was only out a small amount of money, at least that’s what I told my wife. Thankfully she has always been very supportive of my creative endeavors and I am grateful to still be on this journey. My guitar collection has grown over the years, much more than my playing ability if I’m honest. I love each guitar for different reasons, however, I find myself reaching for my green Reverend Contender RB the most lately. There is something about the feel and sound of it that I absolutely love. This is a little embarrassing to say, but I got into instrumental guitar music because I was having trouble sleeping one night. I put on a Spotify playlist for sleeping that contained a lot of ambient guitar. It completely resonated with me and I found myself listening to it more and more. That’s how I eventually discovered Sebastian, Chasing Reverbs, Friend from Work, and many other great artists from all around the world. Something about the sound made me want to start creating my own songs; which is still a work in-progress.
Distributor Thoughts/Recommendations
Hello Everyone. First, I’d like to thank Sebastian for accepting me into this group and look forward to getting to know everyone. I’m hoping to get some sage advice. I am putting the final touches on my first song and have been doing a lot of research on the various distributors (DistroKid, CD Baby, etc.). To be honest, I’m a little overwhelmed by all the choices. For those of you who have already released your music, I would love to get your thoughts/experiences on which ones you would recommend (or would avoid)? I apologize in advance if this topic has been discussed before.

@Martin Eibisch Martin, you're absolutely right about this being a rabbit hole. I have spent far too much time (and brain cells) overthinking this, so I really appreciate your help. I just read the Ari Take article which was very insightful, so thank you for pointing me to it. I have a pretty good idea now which distribution companies I'm going to avoid, so now I just need to narrow down the list of the remaining ones.

Max, I appreciate your insights regarding DistroKid. I haven’t heard of Gyro Stream so I definitely will look into them.
TOE BEANS IS LIVE! 🐈🎸
https://open.spotify.com/album/7qoVHP40UUdYcL1AIs9GoH?si=-BcEjTUjRY6hCU09hg1OQQ Friends! The illusive instrumental project is now alive and kicking! It's been sitting in the back seat of my mind as something I've wanted to do for a while, and now with the love and support of @Sebastian Jautschus and the rest of the community "Toe Beans" is now out in the world. My first song "Big Stretch" should be available wherever you listen to music, but i included the spotify link above. I massively enjoyed the whole process, and I'm determined to make my process as resistance free going forward, understanding more about recording, mixing, etc. I already have a ton more ideas I want to put out, so now I justneed to be disciplined on staying focused 😜 Thank you all so much for the support. You really are a bunch of wonderful human beings ♥️ 🐈🎸
