Lessons Learned
Trying to be better on writing down the things I learn from day to day. Here it is: 1. You will never get anywhere without good boundaries. If you allow people to walk all over you for the sake of keeping them, you will lose yourself in the process. 2. Trust your gut intuition, if you feel like something isn’t right, it probably isn’t. Your intuition will keep you safe. 3. Networking is one of the key components of business. Especially as an entrepreneur, you are your business. If people don’t know you exist, you won’t go far. 4. Learn from everyone you meet. Be open to relationships you might not have typically been open to. You can learn something (good or bad) from everyone you meet. Take the time to listen, learn, and ask good questions. This will get you far. This is what I’ve learned so far today. I’m super excited about the doors that are opening for me because I decided to step out of mine.

@Aaron Gold come to what? A BNI meet?

@Aaron Gold I haven't made it to one yet. But I did go to the Aspire Tour which had folks like David Goggins, Codie Sanchez, and Kevin O'Leary. It wasn't a full waste of time, but it was just motivational mumbo jumbo with extra paid side ventures you could join in on. It really inspired me to do more events... So maybe Feb will be the month for BMI
Day Dreaming! My Introduction.
Hello everyone, Aaron here. I live in South Africa currently and my main goal is to completely bring to life the Idea I had scribbled at the back of a sheet of paper (it still counts as a Blank Napkin). "Fully Transition my Income Online " I want to get these 3 things from the community: 1.  Advice and Support. 2.  A group of people to run my ideas by. 3. A fun place to hang out and just talk. For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  Cooking (Jollof Rice is one of my specialties). 2. Discussing ethical dilemmas or other topics where people have widely varied opinions. 3.  Day Dreaming. I just joined the community and i'm hoping to connect with you all. I don't see a lot of posts and introductions even from people on the leaderboards, any reasons why? @Denis Zhebritski @Vickie Curd @Eliale Coqueiro @Mary K @Robert Stinson or is it against the Laws of the Blank Napkin???? @Zahida A Khan @Blank Napkin @Tamzid Himel

I'm going to be just flat honest and say I'm still trying to get into the Skool platform as something I care to look at. So I didn't do it because I was acting like an old dog who didn't want to learn new tricks... But tagging me always gets my attention... Thus me being here! I'm always happy to give you the 3 things you're looking for from this community. So I'll try to keep my eye out as much as possible

@Aaron Gold there are definitely some groups for DJs here, but I'm not at all interested in creating a Skool group. But my growth is with my DJ group One Night Atl and working on Connections and Collaborations which will also build my Cashflow. I DJ with Serato Pro now and I've never used Virtual DJ funny enough
This #1 Advice Will Get You UNSTUCK in 2025 -- Happy New Year!!
Over a decade ago, I’ve been encouraging others to transcend manmade institutions, labels, titles n everything that restricts the beautiful human mind. I’ve noticed that so much of our stress comes from attachment—to conditions, roles, and identities that keep us stuck. While we can learn from manmade institutions, labels and titles, it's crucial to remember that true growth comes from transcending the beliefs of the masses and follow your inner guidance – your true North!! I recently came across Malcolm Gladwell's wisdom that resonates with my philosophy: When Gladwell was asked about the work he does, and how he chooses projects that are in total alignment with him, he mentioned, "to the best of my ability, I try not to define myself at all." “Self-conceptions are powerfully limiting. The most important thing is never to make a decision about yourself that limits your options. In the act of defining yourself, you start to close off opportunities for change, and that strikes me as being a very foolish thing to do if you're not 85 years old.” -- Malcolm Gladwell Gladwell tries to never define himself — because if he did, he’d overlook every opportunity that doesn’t fit that narrow definition. Who are you without any labels or attachment to limiting beliefs? SoOoo many people believe "they are not enough," that they can never be successful or achieve their dreams -- Who would you be without these false beliefs?? Can you detach from societal labels, titles and manmade constructs -- and who would you be without them? As we usher in 2025, it is my wish for you to not fall into the trappings of "labels, titles, and manmade constructs" which limits and restricts the beautiful, infinite human mind. From my part of the world, #Toronto -- here's wishing you and your lovely family a Happy New Year filled with candy cane dreams and happy emojis, as we enter the dawn of the new year -- n let's drizzle some love, compassion, kindness, understanding n some magical sparkly pixey dust along the way!!

I like this! You've also intrigued me so I looked into you a little. I'll start this off by asking why are you in this group specifically?
New Member Intro: Ken Daniells
Hello Blank Napkin community - happy to be here and looking forward to connecting with all of you. My name is Ken and I’m an experienced and multi-faceted business leader. Like most of you, I have lived many lives and been variously called founder, father, marketer, salesperson, manager, consultant, inventor, speaker, strategist, investor and more. Originally from the mountains of California, I currently live in (very flat) Tampa, Florida and masquerade as an executive coach for service professionals when I’m not flying to a volleyball tournament with my daughter or reading a new business book or historical biography. I am currently focused on expanding my coaching business, working mostly on customer acquisition. I am open to connections, support, resources, advice, accountability and community around brand, marketing, social media strategy and content development. Please reach out to say hello, introduce yourself, offer a tip, or if I can help you with any challenges or questions that you are facing. I look forward to chatting more with you soon!
