ABS issue on Renault Megan 2012
good evening guys I want to share this is issue with you guys as we spoken about ABS issues on last live lesson . I had on my customer car last week all 4 wheels get dead blocked the car won’t drive unless I unplug one of the ABS SENSORS. making Abs module goes to error after few seconds the wheels brakes callipers gets released . The fault code is : PRESSURE SENSOR OFFSET PROGRAMMING PERMANENT. On live data/stream showing the sensor offset programming pressure is constant 0.8 bar . Without pressing brake paddle. After I did few diagnostics checking wires looking for any shorts to ground or to positive. But seems all good. Also I bled all four wheels and I put new brakes fluid but didn’t help. So I replaced the abs module and coded it with one from EBay . And fixed it 🥳 Hope this help some one in the future .

transit non start.
afternoon all, had a call last night for a 65 plate transit 2.2 euro5 non start. apparently been driving fine parked it at a job came to go home and it wouldn't start. I told him try some easy start and id get to him today. he messaged this morning saying it will run on easy then dies when taken away , so I said get me a fuel filter just incase. turned up this afternoon plugged it in only codes were for all 4 glow plugs and clutch switch. after checking clutch on live data I deleted the code so no issues there, plus it would crank anyway. now then, fuel pressure key on was sky high like 1600bar 😂 so I thought fuel pressure sensor. I had 5v ref, signal but ground had 6.7v disconnected and 3.4v connected. I probed the ground and earthed it through my test light, straight away on live data fuel pressure came down to less then 50bar, cranked it and it started 🎉. this is where it could get interesting, I traced the loom to the ecu, 1st connector on left which had a cable tie holding it in 🤦‍♂️, plus the coolant tank above was empty and looked like it had been leaking on to the ecu. I disconnected the plug, it looked wet inside and 1 pin had some green crusty onit. I did a continuity test on earth wire from fps to ecu plug and she beeped fine. so question is, is the ecu fecked by being shorted inside or something else 🤔

@Daniel Clout can’t see how you had two different readings with nearly the same bypass, worth double checking that mate
