This still amazes me. I was sitting in California. She was sitting in Sweden. And I photographed her. ❤️📸 No, I didn’t fly to Sweden. She didn’t fly to California. There was no photography studio. We connected through a LIVE video call, she had her phone positioned hands-free, and I guided everything from my end. I directed her lighting. I guided her poses and expressions. I watched the little details photographers watch for. And then I captured her images from California. And Sweden is only part of the story. 🌎 I’ve now remotely photographed people in the USA, UK, Australia, Sweden, Mexico and beyond. After more than 30 years on both sides of the camera, I wanted to find a way to offer my photography skills to people no matter where they live. So I developed one. Hollywood-level headshots and portraits from virtually anywhere in the world. Your photographer doesn't have to be standing in the same room anymore. 📱📸

Today I'm celebrating 200 incredible members in Photography by Cristal, and my heart is so full of gratitude. When I joined Skool, I had an idea. I saw so many amazing community owners, entrepreneurs, and students using outdated profile photos that no longer represented who they had become. So I developed a system inside Skool, for Skool owners and members—a way to create Hollywood-level professional headshots from anywhere in the world through a LIVE guided session using just a smartphone and natural light. What started as an idea has grown into a community filled with creators, coaches, authors, speakers, entrepreneurs, and friends who encourage each other every single day. This journey has been about so much more than photography. It's been about confidence. Connection. Growth. Learning AI. Building together. And showing up for one another.
