Foundation Cohort - Session 5
Hi everyone, I hope you got as much out of today's session as we did - it really is mind-blowing what we can build now! 🤩 The Zoom recording is now live in the Classroom along with the survey link and a couple of other useful links. Please complete the survey as soon as you can - your feedback helps Robert and I plan the final session and make sure we cover everything you need. Good luck with your apps this week - we cannot wait to see what you build at the showcase! 🚀

Session 4
🎉 Week 4 is done! This week we tackled Data to Decisions — using AI to turn raw reports into plain-English action lists. We covered Amazon Ads, company financials, small business P&L, and even an interactive HR dashboard. Same skill, any data. The recording and all the prompts and resources are live in the Classroom now. 👆 Before our next session, two things to do: 1️⃣ If you haven't done your Brain Clone interview yet, now is the perfect time. The instructions are in the Classroom. 2️⃣ Sign up for a free account at Base44 https://base44.com/ See you in two weeks! 💛 Tracey & Robert

In Base44 @Michele Ehrlich. open a free account and paste it. Don't do anything else after it generates the app. We'll be looking at all the apps as they initially generated, and then we can start playing with them.
Book Organization App
Just to tease you a little... My app turned up REALLY cool and Tracey's as well, except they are quite different from each other, which is exactly the point and beauty of generative AI. By the end of the sessions you will have a really cool and functional app with everything you each need it to have.
⚡ Your Week 1 wins (and disasters) - share them here!
Hey everyone! 👋 We are just a few days into Week 1 and we would love to hear how you are getting on! Have you had a chance to try any of the following since our first session? 🎯 Tweaking your prompts to get better results ⚙️ Setting up or updating your Custom Instructions 🤖 Building or experimenting with a Custom GPT ✨ Something else entirely that you tried Drop a comment below and let us know what you tried, what worked, and what surprised you! There are no wrong answers here — even “I tried it and it went sideways” is worth sharing because we can work through it together. 😄 Tracey & Robert

@Michele Ehrlich Michele, I think you’re looking at it exactly the right way. Your custom GPT isn’t necessarily “better” than the ChatGPT you’ve already been using a lot. If your regular one already knows your voice, background, and how you like to work, that’s a real advantage. The big benefit of a custom GPT is more about focus. It can be helpful to have one that stays in a specific lane, like your writing, business, or a certain type of project, while your regular ChatGPT can still be your everything-else space. So no, you don’t have to ditch the old one at all. I’d think of the custom GPT more like a specialist, not a replacement. And yes... AI definitely has that “wow, there’s so much I still don’t know” feeling 😄 We’re all learning as we go.

@Kristen M Nelson-McKenzie That’s awesome to hear. I’m really glad the recap helped and that you were able to put it to work right away on a real project. That’s exactly the point, saving time, getting better thinking, and spotting gaps you might have missed on your own. Also, very nice catch on being specific with the prompt and asking for the output in a certain format. That alone makes a huge difference. And absolutely, we’ll send the link for the next class. It's going to be awesome!
