August Showcase Red Admirals
The hot weather seems to have affected a lot of opportunities for macro, a lot of the damsels seemed to have now gone pretty early. The garden studio was a success with the butterfly friendly plants, various Bees and Beewolf Wasps and of course Butterflies. A new lens for me was the 180mm 1.5 macro which worked well along with the 90mm 2x macro for close work. Camera: Canon R5 Laowa 180mm 1.5x macro Natural light 1/2000 ISO800 f8

Great shot! Igor!
Spider and webs
Love these Orb Spiders after a rainy couple of days, its that time of year to see them as water drops latch on to the web and the sun shines through the water. It was a nice suprise the Wasp Spider is still around Camera: Canon R5 Lens: Canon 100-400f5.6 Natural Light Settings1/1000 ISO400 F8

Awesome 👌
Autumn Challenge
The Rudbeckia is just about done now, hoping the rain will just give a last hurrah before the end. With plenty of room for negative space I was pleased with this shot of an Autumn Fly enjoying the nectar and with the 180mm lens I can stand back a bit but not miss any detail Camera: Canon R5 Lens: Laowa 180mm1.5 macro Natural Light Settings 1/750 ISO400 f8
