Six C Cases… all cracked
I never see cases at a local grocery chain Jewel. Saw these tucked away in the cart and got excited for a second. Then I realized, after asking to go through them, another collector got to them before me! That’s how it goes!

🔄 Trade/Sell/Buy — How This Works (READ FIRST)
UPDATED: 02-02-26 This is our official Trade/Sell test space inside Diecast Club. A lot of you asked about trading, buying, and selling. So we’re rolling out a simple, temporary system while we learn what works and what doesn’t. Please read this fully before posting. ✅ Who Can Participate - Everyone 🧾 Where & How to Post - Post ONLY inside this pinned thread - Do NOT create separate trade/sell posts elsewhere In your comment, include: - What you have - What you’re looking for (trade/sale/buy) - Clear photos (if possible) From there: 👉 Interested members DM you 👉 All details, pricing, shipping, and terms stay in DMs ⭐ Trader/Seller Reviews (NOT Optional) - Create a separate intro comment saying who you are - Ask traders/buyers to reply after a successful deal This helps others see who’s legit and builds trust over time. 🔐 Important Responsibility Notice All trades and sales are between members only. Diecast Club: - Does NOT handle payments - Does NOT act as a middleman - Is NOT responsible for deals, shipping, or outcomes 📦 Whatnot Sellers If you sell on Whatnot, you’re welcome to post your Whatnot username and show info here. To post, you must also create a Trader/Seller Review post for yourself. If someone buys from you through the club, it’s on the buyer to leave a review on that post. All transactions happen on Whatnot. Diecast Club is not responsible for any purchases, trades, or issues. If issues arise, the only action we can take is to remove a member from the club. Start small. If something feels off, trust your gut. 🧪 Why We’re Doing It This Way This is a test. We’re learning: - Who’s using it - How often it’s used - What breaks - What needs improving Your feedback matters. If you have ideas, issues, or suggestions, DM me in the Chat. 🤝 Final Notes - Keep everything inside this thread - Respect each other - Help us build this the right way Thanks for your patience and for helping shape Diecast Club.

Scalpers. Employees. What can you do ?
I love the hunt. Finding the car that you hope for. Not necessarily the STH or even the TH. Just the one that catches your eye. The one you “want”. Open boxes being brought to the sales floor. That means someone has gone thru them and picked them clean before they come out of the back of the store. I’ve watched employees take cash money from buyers and allow certain customers access to the “back of the store”Customers come out with gobs of the good stuff. This infuriates me to no end. Employees should not get to do that. It happens here where I live every day. Just my 2 cents. Aggravated right now. Thanks for letting me vent.

Quick Walmart Stop That Paid Off
Stopped by a local Walmart I hadn’t hit in a while. I was actually on my way to Home Depot, but had a hunch and figured I’d swing through since I know a couple of the workers there. Went straight to the pegs first and caught people talking Hot Wheels, so I knew something had been touched recently. Turned the corner and saw a Hot Wheels dump bin with fresh 2025 Q case cards sitting right on top. That’s always a good sign. Started digging and found a couple Zamacs, including the Volvo 240 Drift Wagon and the Jaguar XJC, that made the stop worth it. Missed the Porsche Zamac, which I know is part of the 2026 B case, so someone definitely beat me there by minutes. That’s just how it goes sometimes, but I was still glad I trusted the hunch instead of skipping the stop. Walked out happy and with some solid pickups. Sometimes the win isn’t everything on the list, it’s just being in the right place at the right time. If you’ve had a recent win, big or small, drop it in here. Even quick stops count.

@Justin Zaso Walmart here where I’m at is mostly a miss. Fighting employees for the good stuff. I have better luck with the Dollar Generals. There is one every 15-20 square miles here in Mississippi. I wish you the best of luck. Cheers.

@Frank Quintero I have the Zamac Porsche. I lucked up it was in a dump bin right on top.
Back in Garage
I lost a lot of my Hotwheels and Matchbox stuff when my parent’s house burned down back in the early 90’s. I’m back up to around 1500 cars so far. Having my Grandsons around helps fuel the hunting. I have introduced them to the Hotwheels scene and they seem to love it so far. I’m on Facebook marketplace a lot looking for the antique track sets. Thanks for the invite.

It’s a blast. My wife and I raised girls. Now I have 2 grandsons. They are awesome. My partners in crime.

Yeah. Lost some redlines in that fire. Wasn’t happy. But no one was home including animals. Glad for that.
