Hi friends! I’ve been sitting on wanting to start my own YouTube channel for probably like a decade! Yikes. 😳🙏🥹 But finally here! Scary to put myself out there, but I felt attracted to Alexa’s journey, and I’m in my late 40s, so related! (Don’t have kids tho - but do have fur babies!) ❤️ Looking forward to learning more and starting my channel to help midlife women (and beyond) live their best life. I hope everyone is doing well! 🙏😃

Hey there! I thought my channel name was ok until I started the 30 day challenge. Now I’m rethinking everything 😩. I help women over 50 with high protein meal prep for Weightloss and longevity. My current name is : Future Me Eats. (My intention is to record my own real life journey as a content pillar) Now I’m considering - Future Me Eats (current) - Future You Eats - Future You Meal Prep - Slim at Sixty or Slimming at Sixty I’d appreciate any feedback, as well from any of the midlife ladies who I’m hoping to reach :) thank you !!!

Day 4 done!

I just joined a few days ago and am on day 3 or 4 of the challenge. I've kind of been cycling through the first few topics. I have a YouTube channel with my name but haven't done a whole lot with it - at least I hadn't until another recent 30 day challenge. I'm not sure whether to use this or make a new channel. I'm not concerned about monetization. I have a niche which is definitely a niche. I'm a Bible translator for a minority language in eastern Indonesian. I want to talk about what we call "Scripture Engagement". For the layman, a clearer title would be something like "Changed Lives Through Heart Language Scripture Engagement." A bit long for a YouTube channel name. Maybe "Encouraging Scripture Engagement" is a shorter possibility. I'll be talking about things like how to make non-print media forms of Scripture, like videos. Or how to incorporate engagement in the actual translation process. My focus will would be minority language Scripture engagement but there would be ideas for larger languages. That sparked the name possibility of "Scripture Engagement Ideas." This is probably too niche for most people on here but I should out put it out here to see if anyone had helpful suggestions. My audience would end up being pretty much just those in the Bible translation field. Thinking of audience I've also wondered about doing it in Indonesian but English is my first language. I'd love to make it as accessible for Indonesians as possible but a lot of what I'd talk about would be helpful for those involved in Bible translation around the world. I could do subtitles. Or possibly a voice over but that would probably be too much work so I wouldn't get to it.
