印象特別深刻的時候不小心會翻譯用 impression，雖然不是錯誤但容易誤會。英文裡的「印象深刻」慣用語是什麼呢？ ✰ 其實是 adv + remember 很明顯記得、尤其記得、歷歷在目的說法 慣用句型 - I distinctly remember [名詞子句, 名詞]. - I especially remember [名詞子句, 名詞]. - I have a [clear, vivid, strong] memory of [名詞]. - I remember [名詞] the most. 例如 - When I walked into the office, I distinctly remember the smell of the trash can. （我走進辦公室時，清楚記得垃圾桶散發出的氣味。） - The waterfall was amazing. 分享給移民的你。 事情是這樣的。在四月，我在美國 New Hampshire 參加了我的宣誓典禮，正式成為美國人。典禮氣氛相當溫馨，申請人有60多位，其中有來自超過30個國家的人，法官一個一個把國籍唸出來，讓大家幫你拍手慶祝。 法官名字是 Aframe，自己表示宣誓典禮是他工作內容中最喜歡的事情之一，這種 festive 的氛圍在一般法庭是不長見的。他在典禮中的一段話，讓我（還有身邊的一些人）特別感動甚至落淚，我特別想記下來。 典禮結束後一個禮拜，我上網找典禮的紀錄但卻找不到，因為宣誓典禮不是一般民事或刑事作業，所以我決定打電話給辦公室後，並寫信追問： ❝ Hi Charli（助理或秘書）, This is Shan Serasis. 介系詞是英文裡最奧妙的一環，像是配件一樣能完全改變句子的樣貌。 Think something through 表示去徹底考慮、想透、想清楚。有時有悔意、怪罪的語氣。 🗣️ 例如 I didn't think it through when I bought the EV. （我買電動車時沒有想清楚。） Didn't you think it through before moving to the suburbs? （你搬家到郊區之前沒有想透徹嗎？） ✏️造句練習：用 think something through 造句，並且嘗試加入以下單字，選一即可。注意，造句時請注意詞性（動詞、名詞等）。 -completely -purchase -hold -ground 加油！ ⬇️

起初只是因為演算法，刷到巴奈的Reels，覺得講得比較偏向應用類型，就追蹤了（好樸實無華） 其實只是希望可以慢慢拾回英文而來，自己過往學英文的經驗除了背誦，不然就是一直考試，實在太不喜歡這樣的方式，然後就放置了好長一段時間不面對英文，希望可以在這邊慢慢拾回來，至少不要那麼排斥英文🥺
