We just pushed the first major update to our Blender Prompt Director Skill. The biggest improvement: camera matching is now much more precise and verifiable. Instead of trying to make the Blender camera roughly resemble your reference image, the skill now measures exact positions inside the frame and checks the 3D camera against them before building the animation. What’s new 👇 📐 More accurate composition matching The skill analyzes where important elements sit inside your reference, such as the subject, horizon, windows, and other scene elements, and uses those positions to recreate the framing more accurately. 🎥 Camera verification before animation The camera is checked against the reference before the camera path is created and again before rendering. If the framing is wrong, it gets corrected first. 🔭 Better camera setup Lens, camera height, placement, and target direction are now handled in a more structured way instead of relying on guessed rotation values. 🛤️ Improved camera movements Orbits, pushes, cranes, and tracking shots are now created using camera rigs, helping the subject stay properly framed throughout the movement. ⏱️ Better interpolation control Constant-speed camera movements now actually stay constant instead of automatically easing in and out. 🛡️ Safer Blender workflow Any render settings changed by the skill are recorded and restored afterward. The updated Blender Prompt Director v1.1 file is available below. If you're already using the previous version, simply replace it with the new one inside your Skills folder. More improvements coming soon 👀🔥
