So I decided to try the Fortuna algo. I ran it today but noticed that at 1100MST(My Time), the algo kept running. It does state that that Algo the runs from 0815EST to 1300EST(1100MST)) so I was a little surprised it was still running. Is the 1300 EST just an estimate? Should I turn it off if it is running after the hours in the documentation?

Algo Recommendations
Getting my Algo set up on some apex funded accounts. I have between 800-1300 left in drawdown. Was wondering if Fortuna on both MES and MNQ with a risk 100 and 199 max per trade sounded like a good place to start or what is the recommended starting point. Thanks!! @Rico Russo

Hi Mark, there is no magic bullet. Market dynamics are always changing and thus some algos perform better during certain days/weeks. That's also why there are a suite of algos and not just one specific one. The best approach is to manage your risk and size appropriately. Refer to the Automated Algos section in the classroom to determine an appropriate size for your situation.
