Goals goals goals
Currently splitting up 40 lbs of chicken breast for meal prep, freezer packs, and jerky because: Goals require action. Not just motivation. Not just planning. Not just “I’ll start Monday.” Sometimes progress looks less like inspiration and more like your kitchen becoming a poultry processing plant. 🐔💪 What’s your current boring-but-necessary side quest?
Random question for my fellow chaos creatures 🦝
When you have something you really need to do… what’s the thing that usually knocks you off track? For me it’s usually one of these: • I get distracted by something else • I overthink the starting point • I open my phone “for one second” • my brain suddenly decides it’s nap time I’m curious what everyone else’s glitch tends to be.

For me it’s 100% the “open my phone for one second” glitch. I’ll be like: “I just need to check one thing real quick.” …and suddenly I’m learning about deep sea squid, watching a raccoon open a cooler, and it’s been 27 minutes.
Side Quest: Notice It (and touch one thing)
This week is simple. We’re not fixing everything. We’re not overhauling your life. We’re just noticing. Here’s your Side Quest: Pick ONE small space and reset it. That’s it. Desk. Counter. That one chair that holds everything you own. Spend 10 minutes max. Now the part that actually matters: While you’re doing it, notice what your brain does. Do you: - want to do way more than you planned? - feel the urge to avoid it completely? - start thinking about everything else you “should” be doing? That’s the work. Not the cleaning. The noticing. You don’t need to do this perfectly. You don’t need to do more. If you do it once and pay attention? That counts. Check-in: What did you notice? Not just what you did. What your brain did while you were doing it. Drop it below.

I primarily decided to rot on the couch for most of the day. I did go for my Thursday run with @William Pickle but my “one thing” today is going to be my laundry! I WILL put it away!

I am not perfect. My laundry did not get COMPLETELY put away, but in the 5-7 minutes before my shower tonight, I did manage to get all of my shorts and pants put away and gathered all my tops and set them aside so they’re ready to be hung up in the morning along with pairing my socks. I still consider this a win. My dirty clothes were able to move from the “floordrobe” to the laundry bag and I now have no clothes on my bed or floor.
Glitch Report
🧠 The Glitch A glitch is when your brain runs an unhelpful program. Negative self-talk, avoidance loops, emotional spirals, procrastination — we all have them. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s noticing the glitch sooner. Let’s normalize this for a second… What’s the most ridiculous ADHD / chaotic brain thing you did this week? I’ll start: I walked into my bedroom three separate times and still forgot what I went in there for. 🫣

Bonus question: What system have you tried that actually helped even a little?

I help high-intensity humans build stable lives without dulling their shine. Patterns & systems, not perfection or shame. Growth that actually stays.
