I know I’m free because I can take my wife to see the latest version of a hip Sense and Sensibility story at the local movie house. She puts on one her finest dresses (I wear one of my newer baseball caps). I hold her hand as we stand in the line at the snack bar. I look her in the eye, lean over and whisper in her ear, “Nice dress, can I talk you out of it?”. The nice girl working the snack bar and the couple behind us in line laughed out loud. I know I’m free because I am free to sleep on the couch.
