I kind of grew up with that whole Rich Dad, Poor Dad scenario. My Dad worked as an electrician. Put in hours and brought home a paycheck. Not much time or energy left for after work activities for himself or his kids. My best friends Dad had his own accounting firm. This guy was at every basketball game. Home or away. I noticed that and always admired his ability to make his own calendar. I've done both myself. And prefer setting my own hours and time off to match what my family requires.
