Day 303
Reading today’s devotional reminded me of a time not too long ago when I valued men’s opinions more tha Gods. Not openly speaking that but by my actions and know now how that is a trap. I was career and money focused and tha led me to follow men and eventually built up to be a wedge between myself and my God. Thankfully God rescued me and allowed me to see where I was wrong. At the time I was asking why God had taken my leadership position away but he knew better as allways.

This is great insight @David Keith McGowan . Found myself in a similar position even just this year. Attaching myself to vision of other men. Forgetting my gifts and what God wants to do with me. This season has been a learning season for me for where I need to shift. Thanks for sharing. Encouraging
SELF MASTERY AND WISDOM FROM PROVERBS 6
Reading Proverbs 6 reminds us that wisdom is not just about what we avoid. It is about how we govern ourselves before trouble shows up. Proverbs 6:1–19 gives us a clear picture of self mastery in action. First, wisdom teaches restraint Impulsive decisions, especially financial or emotional ones, can trap us quickly. Wisdom pauses before committing. Second, discipline must come from within The ant prepares without being told. No overseer. No pressure. Just responsibility. Self mastery grows when discipline becomes internal. Third, character is revealed in small behaviors Words, gestures, attitudes, and intentions all matter. Lack of self control does not explode suddenly. It erodes quietly. Finally, pride and deception destroy relationships The things Scripture warns against most are the things that fracture trust and unity. Self mastery protects both your character and the people around you. Reflection for today Where do you need more restraint, discipline, or humility right now Drop your thoughts below and let us grow in wisdom together 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

@David Keith McGowan Thanks for sharing that. Boy I can relate my friend. My wife told me something recently during a conversation we were having about me and my own offense in situations. I would find myself lashing out a things that made no sense. She said you're choosing to be angry and that's not wise. Took me a few days for that to process that and reading this to day helped cement it in my heart. The things I was letting myself get angry and offended about were things out of my control, the anger wasn't going to change it, the person on the other side was never going to hear it no matter how many times it was explained, and I needed to shift perspectives on righteous and useless anger. This was gold. Thanks for sharing that

Great business teaching last night
Last nights session was powerful! Sometimes the simple thing that I would not have thought of can be so valuable and change the direction of my business in a positive way. Removing all emojis and AI generated stuff so it does not get flagged by those evaluating can help us reach a larger audience. Thanks again Sean! And thanks to the new people in the group for sharing how to make my logo look better! Excited for the growth here this year!

My family has had a tough few weeks my uncle Joe passed, my Aunt Monica passed(not husband and wife) and my niece miscarried. Please keep our family in your prayers through this time. Thank you.

A CHRISTMAS REFLECTION THROUGH PROVERBS 12X
As we celebrate Christmas, we are reminded that wisdom is not seasonal. It is lived daily. Proverbs 12X calls us to walk wisely in every area of life, and Christmas invites us to slow down and realign our hearts with what truly matters. This season reminds us of these timeless principles: Wisdom over impulse Christmas is a time to pause, reflect, and choose wisdom in our words, decisions, and responses. Self mastery Peace begins within. Guard your heart, manage your emotions, and choose patience even in busy moments. Health and wholeness Rest is holy. Joy is healing. Laughter and gratitude strengthen both body and soul. Wealth with purpose True wealth is stewardship. Generosity reflects wisdom and honors God far beyond material things. Relationships built on love Christmas reminds us that connection matters more than perfection. Choose grace. Choose understanding. Choose unity. Faith and direction In every season, acknowledge the Lord and trust Him to guide your path forward. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, may this season renew your strength, sharpen your wisdom, and realign your priorities. May you walk into the coming year grounded, focused, and full of hope. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Let us continue to grow together in wisdom, purpose, and faith.
