Six months of real focus can change the direction of your life.
When I left my last product company after 5 years of hustle. I had to start from scratch. But this time I had one thing. I had the knowledge that I can build a community of 200k people. I had the knowledge that I can raise $2.3 million. I had the knowledge that I can build a team of 55 people across 5 jurisdictions. I had the knowledge that I can win awards and get published. I had the knowledge that I can hit that 200k MRR I took my momentum and shifted it in a new direction. A blank canvas. Not fake hustle. Not scattered effort. Not being “busy” in twelve directions. Six months of choosing one path, showing up for what is next, and staying with it when the novelty wears off can put you years ahead of the version of you that keeps restarting. That kind of consistency does something deeper too. It rebuilds trust with yourself. You stop seeing yourself as someone who almost does things. You start seeing yourself as someone who follows through. And that changes more than outcomes. It changes identity. A lot of people are trying to find themselves. Sometimes the better move is to keep a promise to yourself long enough to become someone you respect. That is where a different kind of confidence starts. Not loud confidence. Not borrowed confidence. Earned confidence. Six months. One direction. No scattered energy. That can move your life a lot further than most people think. Falling in love with yourself might look a lot like becoming someone you can rely on.
