Happy Thanksgiving Week!
I hate to bail on everyone and I wish ya all a happy holiday but right now in this season I am just trying to focus on my moms care and my own health in the midst of it all. I have chosen to only do what I can do until my mom is on the other side of recovery. That is probably about 6 weeks out. So all classes and time devoted to this group unfortunately will be postponed until then or until I can successfully manage both. Thanks all! Happy Holidays and I will be back soon.

Rooted Not Rushed
This is all a learning curve as I learn to produce our bi monthly newsletter. I hope you enjoy and let me know as we go which format you find the most user friendly in the community. This week I have it as a PDF so you can download it and save it for later to work on the journal prompts! :)

Lead From Within
Scripture: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23 Leadership isn’t about position—it’s about posture. Every woman leads something: her thoughts, her family, her business, her friends. But real leadership starts inside. When your heart’s cluttered with comparison, hurry, or offense, it spills into everything. Guarding your heart isn’t about shutting people out—it’s about letting God in first. I’ve learned that when I lead from a full heart, I can handle the hard stuff without losing peace. But when I lead from emptiness, even small things knock me off balance. So today, slow down. Step outside if you can. Feel that fresh air, watch the horizon, and invite God into the quiet spaces of your heart. Ask Him to sift what’s not serving your purpose. 🎯 Today’s Challenge: Take ten quiet minutes—no phone, no noise. Ask, “Lord, am I leading from love or from pressure?” 💭 Reflection: What’s one way I can protect my peace today so I can lead better tomorrow? Declaration: “Father, fill my heart with wisdom and gentleness. Let every word and decision flow from Your peace.” Comment “Leading with Heart” in our community and share one thing you’re letting go of to make room for more peace. 👑

One of my favorite Proverbs! <3 I'm letting go of deep sadness and anger in my heart from what I experienced and witnessed the 8-1/2 years I spent boots-on-ground in Afghanistan's warzone; praying for Him to fill that darkness with my Heavenly Father's Hope, Joy and Peace again. Thank you, Jesus <3

Grit & Grace
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 Grit and grace—two words that don’t seem to fit together, but that’s exactly what makes them powerful. See, we Western women are good at grit. We know how to show up when the wind bites and the day feels long. But sometimes, in all that pushing, we forget to breathe. We start carrying the weight alone instead of letting God’s grace carry us. Grace doesn’t mean you stop working hard—it means you stop working alone. It’s not weakness; it’s wisdom. It’s the sacred permission to say, “I can’t do it all, but with God’s help, I can do what matters.” Think about a horse out on the trail—it’s strong, yes, but it moves best when it trusts its rider. That’s us with God. Our grit gives strength to move; His grace gives direction to go the right way. 🎯 Today’s Challenge: extend grace—first to yourself. Speak kindly over your effort instead of criticizing what’s undone. 💭 Reflection: Where can I trade striving for surrender and let God’s grace fill the gaps I can’t? Declaration: “Lord, thank You that Your grace meets me where my strength ends. Teach me to carry grit in my hands and grace in my heart. Enjoy Ladies!
