Should I Stay or Should I Go.
🎤 Living the comedian life in North Carolina! Practicing hard at open mics but still struggling to book gigs. Audience loves Mister Dimples, but club owners won't budge. But hey, took a leap of faith to Boston for an open mic and crushed it! Invited back for the main Friday night show! Keep grinding, keep shining! #ComedyLife #NeverGiveUp #BostonBound #MisterDimples #DreamsDoComeTrue 🎭🔥

I agree with Taylor the more you are out there the more you will become a household name. I know a magician who did all these crazy local stunts for free and now he is a household name and is on cruise ships too. So always look for different ways to promote yourself and to get stage time.
Mentoring
I was just asked to talk about mentoring. I recently was interviewed for a Leadership Series. I do not have any puppets during the interview, but I share how many people have mentored me and how we can all work to mentor others. https://youtu.be/6_glIxH2C6Q

I will be attending too. Hope to see you all there.
Learn the Theme of the Event
I performed a show today for a senior volunteer lunch. It was a Super Hero Theme. In my show I playfully added some super hero comments and things. When I finished the show one of the event planners said "I was so impressed the way you did your research and added in some Super Hero bits to tie in with our theme." So there is an idea for you all, find out the theme of the event and add a few little things and they will love you for it.
Kids Who Are Afraid of Your Puppets
Sometimes kids get afraid of the puppets. Whenever this happens, I always stop the show and demonstrate the puppet is a puppet. This puts the little ones at ease. And I also give them a tiny ventriloquist lesson too. Have any of you encountered this and how did you combat it?

I have not had that happen to me. I did have a client that was afraid of ventriloquist dolls. She would run in and pay me then run out screaming "Have FUN KIDS!" I do like what you shared and if it happens I will follow your lead.
