Hi all, I'm Amanda and I'm an LMFT-S in Texas. I've been doing this a longgggg time. LOL I worked in community mental health for about 17 years all in youth and family programs, then I worked for the state for a year, and then I went into full time private practice. I run both a full private practice www.positivechangescounseling.net and also a business mentorship company focused on helping therapists, coaches, and wellness practitioners expand their business beyond one on one hourly sessions www.alignandembody.com . I provide live clinical trainings a few times a year, but otherwise focus more of my offerings on helping people expand their businesses.

I have a Ph.D in MFT. I’m also an LPC-S with the state of Texas. I specialize in couples, women’s issues, anxiety and depression.

What is the hardest part about the field for you so far?

Hello, I am a LMHC in the state in NYS. My goal joining this group is gather as much information about transitioning to private practice. I work full time at an outpatient clinic which I’ve been there for 13 years. It’s a scary move but I’m ready.
