Hello everyone!
Hi, my name is Chris, I'm located in Barcelona, Spain. My favorite card in my collection is Mew (WotC #9) - it has so much personal value since it was given at the store where I played League for the first time with my best friend when we were 14. The reason I collect is just because I appreciate the art and I love Pokémon since then… I am 37 years old now and even though I do not collect full collections, I started to organize the cards and look for favorites I couldn’t have when I was younger:) Glad to meet many people from everywhere with the same love for the TCG!

Nice Mew! Childhood cards with a good story attached are what brings a lot of people back into Pokemon. It's such a powerful thing haha. Do you still play the TCG?
Introduction
Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing alright! I am 20 years old and i am currently studying to be a watchmaker. I have a passion for traveling and cars (especially the ones from Stuttgart) . Recently i got back into Pokemon after a friend reminded me of the many wonderful times we had on the playground. The Pikachu that i attached is a card that my dad recently pulled after i handed him the booster pack, and it reminds me from when i was young that he would bring every week something from the toy store near his work to lighten my day!

Welcome Niels and nice that you got back into Pokémon! Do you already know what you are going to collect? Vintage cards or maybe modern as well?
Hi all
Hi all. Fairly New to all of this, so thank you in advance for the welcome. My fav all time will be Umbreon!

@Jack Roskam Sounds like a solid plan. Collecting what you love is the best way to collect in my opinion. If value of cards go up it's cool, if they stay the same it's good either way 😄 You can always have a look at the Japanese equivalant of the trainer gallery, they are usually similar priced but in my experience increase in value quicker

@Jack Roskam Generally English is printed much more, as it caters to a larger audience. I don't know the exact difference between the amounts of cards printed. The Japanese cards are indeed printed by The Pokemon Company in Japan. English cards are printed by The Pokemon Company International. Also the quality of Japanese cards is generally better in terms of card stock, centering and texture/color vibrance.
Team Red or Blue - Round 2. Let's change things up a bit!
Team Blue - 6 boxes of Vstar Universe for €600 - was the winner of the 1st round, the majority of you guys would take them over a NM/M Moonbreon. Now let's change things up a bit! Winner stays on, but I'm curious to see if Vstar Universe will win this round as well! 1. Check out the attached image. 2. Vote below. 3. Leave a comment and share the reasoning behind your vote.

I picked the 6x eevo boxes. Considering their short print run in EU and the fact that they contain pretty difficult to grade promo cards of popular Pokemon AND evolving skies packs I think they're a solid option. I think they have doubled in price since release, but still a lot of room to grow

@Jesse Kroon Damn 300 pics haha, that's a lot. No didn't grade mine yet but would like to in the future!

A bit too late but I would pick team blue here as well. As others said, a lot of room to grow in value still 👍

Hey I'm Ricardo. I've been collecting Pokemon cards again since a few years. Also got interested in investing in cards and sealed along the way.
