Early 00s esthetics in music and videos is back...
I've been exploring some new music lately. And i see a lot of bands and artists that have picked up the early 00s trends for their videos and music. Red and blue minimalistic colours, green screens, soundwave animations etc. It's lovely to see and hear a new take on this era. I'll put some examples below of songs that were released earlier this month: South Arcade - Fear of Heights https://youtu.be/wKNJmMJYgiA?si=Ir765FWwZng7GvBG After - Deep Diving: https://youtu.be/MTIDZGqjlls?si=ghF-VOsYFpgiZ0Hk What do you think of this "back to the early 00s"trend? Let me know below 👇

@Christian Lie good man! I just got done with a Harley Benton Tele I had been after. I finally got it from the guy and he did a not so great job on the pick ups and mods but they were pretty easy corrections. He had the wrong screws on the bridge so the saddles were not sitting as low as they should for the action I like. The pick up adjustment screws where to short for proper string height but all has been corrected..I have a couple of finishing touches to do but all in all it's done. My old yamaha steam neck reset did not work out as well as I wanted so I will be doing a full neck reset on it. It plays and sounds ok right now and the string action is not so high that it can't be played but I prefer fairly low action so that's in the work. I also have an old 1950's Kay guitar I am going to reset the neck on using a wedge technique that I am currently researching. Thank you for asking!...

@Christian Lie that's a reflection, I have some decoration plans for it to personalize to me though in the not to distant future.

Sultans of Swing solo #1: Practice log 🎸
This is one of my favorite songs from the late 70s, and the solo here is completely unbeatable. It's so melodic, so satisfying to play. There's still a few quirks that I need to work out for this solo, and there's also a second solo at the very end of the song, which I'm also working on. So that's going to be interesting. I'll probably share an update once all the pieces come together 👍 💬 What are you learning these days? Share your own progress using this quick format: 1. Song / riff / lick you’re learning 🎵 2. Where you’re at now (just starting, halfway, almost nailed it, etc.) ⏳ 3. A clip or quick update (video optional, even just text works!) 🎥 Have a good one! 🤘
