Hi Darlene, I love your Direction Canva documents!
"Working for Free" Nuggets for aspiring entrepreneurs
I am designing this community for both job seekers, career changers, and those who need direction for a business idea. If entrepreneurship is on your horizon, how are you determining your pricing strategy? In replaying a presentation by a business guru this morning, she reminded us that everything doesn't have to be in service to others. Everything doesn't need to be free......... Twice this week, two different business gurus have communicated the same thing. I get it universe.... this is for me. While it is important to support those in our community with our skills, it is also important to care for our own hopes and dreams for our livelihoods. Pricing should be determined by a combination of demand for your skills and services, your niche, your break-even point, and even your position on the continuum of what we refer to in accounting as "Price takers" and "Price setters". How do you plan to determine your pricing? What will you do in service for your community in your area of expertise? My answer is in the comments.
