Homework: Name 4 habits that waste time and productivity.
1. Failing to set boundaries with others. Proverbs 25:16-17 TPT [16] When you discover something sweet, don’t overindulge and eat more than you need, for excess in anything can make you sick of even a good thing. [17] Don’t wear out your welcome by staying too long at the home of your friends, or they may get fed up with always having you there and wish you hadn’t come. Where boundaries are not established one can find themselves wasting time and productivity with others who feel or think that they always have access to you. When you can be doing something productive youre attending to their needs. There may also be a tendency to also over commit wgen boundaries are not set which can become overwhelming, which can put a strain on the relationship, that can also cause a waste in time and productivity. 2. Dwelling on the past errors or worry. Proverbs 15:15 TPT [15] Everything seems to go wrong when you feel weak and depressed. But when you choose to be cheerful, every day will bring you more and more joy and fullness. Worry can steal your time. Instead of engaging in something productive, you are being consumed by youre errors or mistakes. Mindset shapes ones life experience and wise people cultivate joy and perspective. 3. Distraction with social media. Proverbs 13:4 TPT [4] The slacker wants it all and ends up with nothing, but the hard worker ends up with all that he longed for. It is not the wisest thing to first pick up your phone in the morning and be on social media. You begin to fill your day with distractions and miss connecting with God. This distraction has eliminated time for meditation and prayer. Scrolling endlessly often creates an illusion of doing a task but said task is not productive but wasteful. 4.Gossiping Proverbs 4:23 TPT [23] So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life. Proverbs 10:29 TPT
Proverb of the Day 10.21.25
Proverbs 21:1 TPT [1] It’s as easy for God to steer a king’s heart for his purposes as it is for him to direct the course of a stream. https://bible.com/bible/1849/pro.21.1.TPT
Proverb of the day 10.20.25
Proverbs 20:24 TPT [24] It is the Lord who directs your life, for each step you take is ordained by God to bring you closer to your destiny. So much of your life, then, remains a mystery! https://bible.com/bible/1849/pro.20.24.TPT
Proverb of the day Proverbs 16:2-3
Proverbs 16:2-3 TPT [2] We are all in love with our own opinions, convinced they’re correct. But the Lord is in the midst of us, testing and probing our every motive. [3] Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed. https://bible.com/bible/1849/pro.16.2-3.TPT

Homework: 3 common life situations and wise responses to them
Situation: You go to the store and pay with cash. The amount of change you should receive is more than what you should actually receive. You are tempted to take that money or give it back. And maybe at that very mkment youre in a financial crisis. Wise Response: Choose integrity, give it back. Proverbs 10:9 TPT [9] The one who walks in integrity will experience a fearless confidence in life, but the one who is devious will eventually be exposed. Situation: Your job has become an uncomfortable environment. Maybe you friend has been saying leave the job. Apply for something else...is that what the Lord is telling you to do? Are you seeking Godly counsel? Don't just make rash decisions based on emotions: Careful planning are signs of wisdom. Often times you won't make a mistake. The Lord may have me at this job for a purpose. Lord reveal your plans and purpose for my life in this job. Proverbs 21:5 TPT [5] Brilliant ideas pay off and bring you prosperity, but making hasty, impatient decisions will only lead to financial loss. Situation: You are walking in to walking in to work and someone body shames you. As women, we are so sensitive to our bodies and it's so easy to respond back harshly. Wisdom teaches us to respond with gentleness rather than reacting in anger. I am fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Proverbs 15:1 TPT [1] Respond gently when you are confronted and you’ll defuse the rage of another. Responding with sharp, cutting words will only make it worse. Don’t you know that being angry can ruin the testimony of even the wisest of men?
