Why I’m Paying Attention to This (Starts Jan 14)
Quick context for why I’m sharing this here 👇 There are three people who genuinely changed my life:Eric Thomas, Russell Brunson, and Gary Vee. They shaped how I think about discipline, systems, and long-term thinking. Because of that, I don’t chase trends.I pay attention to moments. This week, that moment is the AI Business Summit, starting Jan 14. It’s a 3-day virtual event focused on how AI is actually being used in real businesses right now — not hype, not theory. It’s led by Alicia Lyttle, with insights from Russell Brunson, Gary Vee, and Neil Patel. If AI has been on your radar at all and you want clarity instead of noise, this is worth checking out. 👉 https://www.kevinmangum.com/ai-summit I’ll be sharing takeaways here during the event.

Kesha and Stan just dropped a quick video showing the easiest way to get paid without selling anything. If you know a coach, freelancer, small business owner, or creator who needs help getting their website set up or cleaned up… this is for you. Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ Get your referral link 2️⃣ Share it with someone you know 3️⃣ We do the work — you get paid That’s it. No pitching. No tech. No follow-up pressure. 💡 Why people are joining: - You don’t need an audience - You don’t handle the service - You simply make the introduction 🎥 Watch the short Kesha & Stan video above 👆 If it clicks for you, jump in and grab your referral link. 👉 Join here: www.kevinmangum.com/partners Know someone right now? I’m calling my shot.
I’m writing a book. Not someday. Not “when things slow down.” Starting now. The book is called Frameworks Thinking. It exists because I’ve spent years watching capable people stay stuck — not because they aren’t capable, but because they don’t have clear frameworks to think, decide, and move forward with. Instead of waiting until it’s “done,” I’m building this book in public. Along the way, I’ll be sharing: - What I’m learning - What I’m teaching - What’s working - What’s uncomfortable No polish. No hype. Just the real process. If you want to follow along as the book takes shape, comment BOOK or visit:👉 kevinmangum.com/frameworks Let’s build it together.
I’m calling my shot.

That’s what I’m talking about
Why things take longer than they need to (and how to fix that gently)
Ever notice how something you give all day to somehow takes… all day? But when you only have 20 minutes? You suddenly get it done. There’s a name for this: Parkinson’s Law “Work expands to fill the time available for its completion.” Most of us don’t struggle with motivation. We struggle with open-ended time. No deadline. No Container. No finish line. So tasks stretch…Energy drains…And progress feels heavier than it should. One small shift that’s helped me:👉 Decide when you’ll stop before you start. Not perfection. Not “finish everything.”Just a clear container. Example:• “I’ll work on this for 25 minutes.”• “I’ll publish something by tonight.”• “I’ll make it messy and move on.” Momentum comes from movement — not pressure.

I have to tighten up my game
“Who am I to teach anyone?” (Read this.)
At some point, every builder thinks it: I’m not qualified enough. I still mess this up. Who am I to teach others? The first time I heard “When you teach, you learn twice” was from Uncle Rick at the Wing Chun Kung Fu school I train at. Here’s what I’ve seen play out over and over: The people who help while learning: • Grow faster • Build confidence naturally • Understand the fundamentals deeper Teaching isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being one rep ahead and willing to serve. And sometimes, the student ends up teaching you something you missed. That’s why learning out loud matters. That’s why community matters. 👇 What’s something you’re learning while doing right now?
