Hi legend Hope you are super well I’ve started going through the C.O.R.E. Nervous System Reset, and something about the way it begins really caught my attention. Normally, when something in my life isn’t working, my first thought is “okay what do I need to change?” But C.O.R.E. starts with a completely different question: “Where am I actually right now?” Think about using a GPS. You can know exactly where you want to go, but if the GPS doesn’t know your current location, the directions won’t help much. That’s what Day 1 is teaching me. Before trying to fix anything, I’m simply noticing, how am I really feeling? Where is my energy going? What emotion keeps showing up? What is my body telling me when I’m under pressure? And this is the part I’m finding valuable: I don’t have to fix any of it yet. I’m just becoming aware. The first exercises are simple. Slow down, breathe, notice your body and pay attention to what is actually happening inside you. That reflects the programme’s Week 1 focus on building a clear, non-judgmental picture of where you are before trying to change anything. But I’m beginning to realise how often Ive tried to change something before I’ve actually understood it. That’s why I’d rather you experience C.O.R.E. than have me keep explaining it. What is your body telling you? Where is your energy going? What keeps showing up? Sometimes the first step isn’t trying harder. It’s finally noticing what you’ve been too busy to see. Love Hykie
