šŸ’› Can I ask you a small favour?
If you’ve enjoyed being part of this community, I’d love to hear about your experience. I’m working on making this community sustainable so it can continue to grow, host challenges, and create an inspiring place for artists. Hearing from you would help more than you know. šŸ™‚ If you’d like to help, could you answer one or more of these questions? ✨ What made you join this community? ✨ What do you enjoy most? ✨ Has it inspired or motivated you to create more? ✨ Have you learned something new here? ✨ How would you describe this community to another artist? ✨ Would you recommend it to a friend? Why? You don’t have to answer every question—a few sentences are more than enough. With your permission, I’d love to use some of your words as testimonials on the community page so new members can see what it’s really like here. Thank you so much for being part of this little creative corner. It genuinely wouldn’t be the same without all of you. ā¤ļø

I joined this community to feel less lonely in my art ā€˜rebirth’. It has given me ā€˜a community’ I lack or don’t yet have found in my own direct surroundings. The challenges inspire me to be more bold. To see others struggle creates a sense of being allowed to wanting to be an artist but yet not earn a living with it. It creates joy! And others feedback mean a lot as they engage with a vulnerable visibility everyone else shows by showing their own process/ pieces. It shows everyone needs to practise. For me it feels safe and still a bit ananymous what in my own community would feel too early in my ā€˜showing’ … still have to find more confidence and do more work šŸŽØšŸ«§

My top 3 @Suzy D.šŸ„‡ the girl with the copper hair @Jenny Warden 🄈 The landscape with summer flowers @Nat Marcelle šŸ„‰ The abstract with blues and terracotta. The girl with copper hair is flying… a dream I find very dreamy… the hair ā¤ļø The landscape with summer flowers as I love nature and flowers … The abstract - less dreamy although the colours feel dreamy to me… Thanks for the challenge… šŸ™šŸŽØ
Challenge! Show Up & Create
Most artists don’t fail because of talent. They disappear. So let’s fix that. New challenge: Show Up & Create → 3x per week→ for 30 days→ post whatever you made (finished or messy) Rules: - No perfection - No overthinking - Just proof you showed up - Miss a day? Don’t quit. Just continue. This is about becoming someone who creates. Not someone who waits. I’m in too. Who’s joining?

@Phill Hatton I love the performer! Very good sketches! I wish I could level that. Do you show your work elsewhere? (Instagram or ?) As I also like drawing I’m just curious. šŸ‘€

@Phill Hatton no art yet Phill. Just family pictures. I used to have a shop and had a professional insta. Have yet to find the courage to create a insta for my ā€˜art’.
šŸŽ™ļø We’re starting a podcast! — and we need you.
Hi Messy Art Squat! @artbyrebeccaknoerr and I are doing this thing. šŸŽ‰ We are starting a podcast. For artists who color outside the lines, start over, make messes, and keep going anyway. šŸŽØ But first — what should we call it? And what do you actually want to hear us talk about? Pitch us your topics, your burning questions, your ā€œI wish someone would just talk about THISā€ moments. We’re listening. Literally. šŸŽ§šŸ‘‡

I would like to feel ā€˜connected’ and empowered by hearing other artist’s stories. How they get inspired; what their day looks like; how they juggle an artist’s life with other ā€˜roles’ f.e. Family/work; how do they organise their workspace (atelier) what is their lifestyle like? What enhances the artist mood… When can you call yourself an artist? How does family respond to their need for ā€˜isolation’ and ā€˜creating’? Are there retreats they join?

@Ozge Gul oh that looks really nice and resembling the original dress! The girl of the painting looks more vulnerable to me… I think you may call yourself a real artist! šŸ‘©ā€šŸŽØšŸŽØā¤ļø
