I wondered what the top 10 ideas were from the post last week. I took all the responses and put in chat and what I got was was the idea, the how, and why it works. This was gonna be a long post for all 10 ideas. So I did what Brenda would do.

I'm changing the gameplan on Skool communities
I just launched my $9/month community yesterday ๐Ÿš€ Welcome to The Skool Summit Community Whether you're hosting your first summit or scaling your next one, you'll learn how to build & launch events in 90 days that grow your Skool community, create partnerships, attract new members, and generate revenue. This just made sense! As a business coach, community builder, and OG Skool summit host. I've grown Skool communities to more than 12,000 members through summits, bundles, collaborations, and live events while generating $10,000โ€“$15,000 per month in recurring revenue. This community is where I've organized my Skool summit trainings, templates, strategies, and resources in one place. Who is launching a summit on Skool in 2026? This is why you need this community!! Skool community
For those building a Skool community from the ground up, what would you focus on first if you were starting again: building the audience, creating the free community, validating the paid offer, or setting up the funnel? Iโ€™m especially interested in what actually helped you attract the right members, not just more members.

@Lindsay MacGregor yes! Agree with that. I would definitely get the basis of the group right...the first 10 and then move on. Engagement takes time unless you have a good group
Attraction Rather than Promotion
Some of you probably recognize this phrase from somewhere. I decided put it into action in my community and in my life. Here's what happened. I was invited to participate in a summit. Thank you @Katya McEwen for the amazing opportunity. I didn't tell people come to the summit. I told them how excited I was to have manifested a speaker spot in the summit. I won the opportunity to offer a bonus session for being the speaker with the most affiliate LLV. The summit participation attracted new members to my community. One thing I learned at the summit was that I needed a business coach. Since I've moved 85% of my business to skool, I needed a skool community coach. When @Brenda Rigney spoke at the summit, I immediately knew I had attracted my coach. I teach people how to clear money blocks and I still have money blocks of my own to clear. One of my biggest blocks was charge value for value. Translation charging for the right price. I had no idea I was losing members and clients by charging too little. Scarcity mindset had me believing that I couldn't over charge. Here was my thinking, "I wouldn't pay that much for...". Of course I wouldn't! I didn't need it, why would I pay for it? When I recognized what I was willing to pay for similar services, it hit me. I'm not going to a $50 Reiki healer, why would I charge $50 for a reading or a coaching session. My business coach had told me the right people will pay the right price. I increased my prices by 70% overnight. I got more clients not less and my regular clients stayed. I even have 3 staff members on commission. Two of whom asked to join me. The other thing that changed was I became more willing to jump in at prices that scared me off before. I joined premium memberships in communities I was invested in. I signed up for VIP with @Brenda Rigney without batting an eye. I became the member I want to attract and it's working.

Lets get that printed on a T shirt. The universe loves to put winners with winners.
Should I have questions and collect emails?
Just noticing that a few groups over joined on here have entry questions even if they're free to join and ask for an email address. And you can t join unless all boxes are filled Should I be doing this? Do you automatically add the email to your mailing list as we have to ask permission to contact people here in the UK, GDPR states them filling their email address isn't enough they have to opt in and have the choice not to. Just wondering how to navigate this? Thanks

@Jenny Dougall I asked a similar question a few weeks back - check out the answer HERE and also check out Brenda's post for how it should flow HERE

@Cheri Baumann Roberts agree you should always have your own list. Never rely on a platform.
