🎹 What’s the hardest part about expressing emotion when you play?
So many pianists can play the notes, but few can make people feel something. When you sit down to play — what’s the hardest part for you? A. Knowing how to shape a phrase B. Controlling tone and dynamics C. Feeling emotionally connected to the piece D. All of the above 😭 👇 Drop your answer below and I’ll reply with a short COPET tip that’ll help.

Progress on Nocturnes Op. 55 No. 2
I decided to make up an ending to end the part that I know instead of just cutting it off. Also, I swear it sounds better in person lol.

I’m Reece. I’m from the U.S. and I am enjoying learning to play Nocturnes Op. 55 No. 1 by Chopin. I am looking to share my playing and get feedback from the community, as well as give feedback back to them.
