One thing I hear all the time is… “Where do I even find brands willing to work with beginners?” While I personally built my business through direct pitching (that’s how I’ve landed brands like Jeep, Ashley Furniture, Ollie, Zesty Paws, Ruffwear, Chewy, and more), I know getting those first few collaborations can feel intimidating. That’s why I wanted to share a few beginner-friendly places to start building experience while you create connections & start pitching to marketing departments. 📍 Pawjourr – A pet-specific platform that offers both paid and gifted collaborations. 📍 JoinBrands – Great for creating portfolio content and gaining experience. Many campaigns are reimbursement-based, but they’re a solid stepping stone. 📍 Cohley – Home to larger brands. It’s more competitive, but don’t let that stop you from applying as your portfolio grows. 📍 Popfly – Perfect if you create outdoor content with your pet. Think hiking, beaches, camping, and adventure brands. You can also apply directly through brand ambassador pages or company websites. A few brands that regularly have creator or ambassador opportunities include: ✨ Pupford ✨ LunaMarie ✨ Primal Pet Foods ✨ Plant Dog ✨ Drby Pet Co Just remember… These platforms and ambassador programs are a great way to gain experience, but don’t stop there. The biggest opportunities (and the long-term retainers) usually come from reaching out to brands yourself. 👇 Let’s help each other out. Comment one pet brand you’ve been dreaming of working with. If I know of a creator program, ambassador application, or a good way to pitch them, I’ll point you in the right direction. 🐾
