What a great motivator to get people more engaged... motivating for me atleast!

I love this thought experiment! 💗 I like to imagine everything more localized. Instead of growing food in one country, shipping it to another to package, and then shipped to another country as the final destination, (mostly) everything is sourced local. Bartering backyard honey for the neighbors eggs would be a normal occurrence. As far as industries go... we live in a throw away society. In my ideal world, nothing is allowed to be manufactured for consumption if it cannot be composted, recycled, or reused. Manufacturers would also be actually held accountable for putting profit over people. All ingredients and chemicals would be required to be listed. Elders are honored and children are taught to have a reverence for nature. Herbalism and other natural modalities would be more common place. Doctors would be trained to focus on nutrition and to solve the root problem of an ailment instead of only prescribing petroleum based medicines to simply cover up the symptoms.
