AI Security Certifications Aren't Worth It... Hear me out
In just a 25-day window (Nov 17 β Dec 11, 2025), four major companies dropped their most powerful models back to back: xAI's Grok 4.1, Google's Gemini 3, Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.5, and OpenAI's GPT-5.2. Vertu That's a new frontier model roughly every week. Certifications can take months, if not years to go through formalized vetting processes through different peer review experts before it is finally launched... Then they have to make study material such as courses and books so people can study for the exam. By the time all this is done - there have already been 2+ models launches MINIMUM! At the rate of AI development, traditional educational methods just don't work anymore. You know what will? Studying the technology itself and using various AI security frameworks such as the OWASP Gen AI and NIST AI Security Profile to test and secure the various AI projects you are working on. Actual hands on experience is with a form of documenting your projects are going to be the key to studying in this ever-evolving landscape! What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree or disagree?
