🧠 The #1 Lie Parents Tell Themselves About Side Hustles
"I don't have time." But here's the truth: You don't need MORE time. You need to use the time you already have differently. Let's do some real talk here... You found time to: ✅ Research the best car seats for 3 hours ✅ Plan your kid's birthday party for weeks ✅ Scroll social media during naptime ✅ Binge-watch Netflix after bedtime ✅ Join this community (you're here, aren't you?) I'm not judging - I've done ALL of these things! But it proves you CAN find time when something matters to you. The real question isn't "Do I have time?" It's "Is my family's financial freedom worth 30 minutes a day?" 💭 Let's get honest in the comments: What's the REAL reason you haven't started a side hustle yet? (No judgment zone!) Is it: Fear of failure? Don't know where to start? Worried about what others will think? Perfectionism (waiting for the "perfect" time)? Imposter syndrome ("Who am I to charge for this?")? Something else entirely? Here's what I know: Every successful parent entrepreneur started exactly where you are right now - with doubts, limited time, and a million reasons why it "won't work." The difference? They started anyway. Your turn: Drop your biggest mindset block below. Let's tackle it together! 👇 Remember: Your kids are watching. Show them what it looks like to bet on yourself. 💪 #MindsetMatters #ParentEntrepreneur #NoExcuses #StartWhereyouAre

Time and commitment are the reasons honestly. Balancing competing demands and prioritizing them often puts my entrepreneurial journey on the end of the list of things to get into. I also admit to being lazy at times (watching tv and sports rather than playing sports and networking for this entrepreneurial journey). Hoping that this community provides some motivation for me to recommit and prioritize engagement in the entrepreneurial journey.
❓ No Question Is Too Small - Ask Away!
This is your safe space to get unstuck, find clarity, and get the support you need! 🤝 Here's the truth: The question you're afraid to ask is probably the same one 10 other parents are wondering about too. ALL questions are welcome here: 🤔 Getting Started: "How do I even begin?" "What should I do first?" 💰 Pricing: "What should I charge?" "How do I know my rates are fair?" 📱 Tech Stuff: "What platform should I use?" "How do I set up payments?" 👥 Finding Customers: "Where do I find my first client?" "How do I market without being salesy?" ⏰ Time Management: "How do I balance this with kids?" "When should I work on this?" 😰 Mindset: "What if I fail?" "Am I qualified to do this?" 📈 Growing: "How do I scale?" "What should I add next?" 🎯 How to get the best help: Be specific - instead of "How do I start?" try "I'm good at organizing, but don't know how to find my first client" Share context - your situation, kids' ages, available time, etc. Ask follow-up questions - dig deeper on the answers you get! Community Guidelines for Support: ✅ Be kind and encouraging - we're all learning ✅ Share your experience - if you've been there, help others ✅ No judgment - every question deserves respect ✅ Tag @john-berry-6647 if you need my input specifically Remember: Asking questions is a sign of wisdom, not weakness. The parents who ask questions are the ones who make progress! 💪 What's your first question? Drop it below and let's get you unstuck! 👇 #AskAway #CommunitySupport #NoJudgmentZone #GetUnstuck

Building a personal / socially-integrated platform for youth development is a goal of mine. How I go about doing that has always been a challenge. I’ve recently streamlined my target audience but with the speed of AI tools and agents I’m now back to the drawing board on integrating tools into a digital platform that will serve as a free and paid resource for parents looking for solutions to help the kids grow in a way that is aligned with their values. Question: As parents searching for solutions to the challenges of helping your kids grow, how did you or do you find programs, opportunities, and resources? Is it primarily word-of-mouth? Relying on Google (and now AI - ChatGPT) search results? School recommendations? I’m curious and grateful for your response. For me and our family we relied heavily on word of mouth and referrals. However, schools remained a strong influence in balancing the need for social relationships with personal growth. It was a tough balance. If I had to do it over again I’d be more involved in creating the resource I’m now hoping to create for my own community so parents had more personalized resources for the growth of their children.
👋 Welcome to Our Introductions Corner!
This is where we get to know the amazing parents in our community! When you introduce yourself, please share: ✅ Your name & general location (city/state is fine!) ✅ Your family situation (how many kids, ages if you want to share) ✅ One skill you're really good at (even if it seems "ordinary") ✅ What brought you to this community (what are you hoping to achieve?) ✅ Fun fact or hobby that makes you unique! BONUS: Drop a photo of your current "workspace" - whether that's the kitchen table, a home office corner, or your car between kid pickups! 📸 💡 Remember: Every expert was once a beginner. The skill that feels "normal" to you might be exactly what another parent desperately needs help with! Can't wait to meet you all and see what incredible talents this community has! 🚀 Drop your intro below and let's start building something amazing together! #NewMemberWelcome #IntroductionsWelcome #ParentHustlers

Greetings, I’m Ray, New York based, two wonderful teenagers who bring my wife and I so much joy. I love to inspire and motivate. As such, I’m a great listener. I’ve found the skill of listening to help me in all my professional endeavors, most recently education administration. I love learning from others and contributing to communities dedicated to growth and positive impact, which brought me here. A hobby is engaging in any and all types of team sports. Basketball is still at the top for me though I’ve lost some speed and jumping ability. Hustle and effort wins every time. Let’s hustle!
