Question
How do you/our do you have to get clearance on using a sample off another producer’s beat

You have to reach out to the producer or publishing admin that has the copyright of the sample your trying to clear.

@Derrick Bennett Yeah its like that. You can do 2 things, use the sample and let god decide what happens or try to reach out. You can go on BMI and search for the song and it tells you who is the owner of the copyrights and most of the time theres an email or number, just know most of the times they will ask for a fee if theres no leverage from your part.
Need any help with your music career at the moment?
Hey everyone, we're planning our content for YouTube video, podcasts and community in the coming months. 1. Is there anything you are especially curious to learn about or understand more deeply this year? 2. Is there anything in particular you need help with at the moment?

Hey. just curious about in feed ads, should we do them? View rate is for me on a good ad is never more then 4, 5 % But thats the best way for a client to get likes and subs. Most of my clients here in Puerto Rico dont like getting a lot of views with low likes. And do you think its better to do skippable ads on unlisted videos and make the destination link the original public video on the channel, so everything on the channel looks more organic. What would you guys do?
Youtube In-Feed Ads View Rate %
Hey, im doing the Music Marketing Exec Program and in the Youtube part of it you guys say we should take out placements that are going below 30 % after 10 impressions and i get that on skippable ads... But what view rate % should i be looking for when it's "IN FEED" ads? PD: I did an indie artist accelerator course last year that told me that 3% or more is great and anything under 1% or 2% should be taking out. What do you guys say?
Radio or no? Is it worth if for the Indie Artist or is it DEAD?
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/feb2g5dtNXKT994U/?mibextid=I6gGtw Some radio pitching services aim at Indies. Should that even be a goal or is it so expensive and exclusive that it’s not worth it being concerned about?

I say if money is not a problem go for it. Radio still influences a lot of people, “i heard you on the radio” just hits a bit different. But if your on a budget, making good social media content mixed with targeted ads is the best way to go.

Hey, my name is Rashai Rivera; I’m a vocal producer from Carolina, Puerto Rico. I’ve been in the music industry over here since i was in high school recording and mixing for a lot of well known artists and companies. Im about to turn 36 next month and still have crazy passion for helping out new up and coming artists, thats why i joined this platform. Looking forward to keeping up to date on things i can do for my people to help them get to the next level and hopefully get there with them. 💪
