Buying more SOUN
Another 100 shares during pre-market @7.91/share. I will open another 10 strike covered call. (options only trade during normal market hours, currently there may be some changes coming to that) Currently own 718 shares and 2 puts sold at 8 strike, expiring this week. hoping to buy those shares. Time frame... IDK depends on your target could be a few weeks could be a year, worth it! Price targets- 10, 12, 15,18 and 20+ 12 to 15 should be very achievable on this trade. Rough time 6-12 months, timing is not my strength. Keep stacking under 10.

May 7 is earnings. Think ima buy mine back on the 6th, they expire the 8th.
I don't announce trades often but...
SOUN- I'm looking for a 10-15 price target on SOUN it is currently under $8/share. So lets math this trade out. $800 for each set of 100 shares. If our target price is $10 that a 25% move. I would sell $10 covered calls on each lot of 100 shares 2 weeks out for expiration. Currently paying $.22/share or $22/contract. So that is a total of a 27.2% trade if it all works out in 2 weeks' time... Now if the price doesn't reach $10 or higher we are still making 2.2% in 2 weeks from the covered call. Most attempt to get 10%/year this a guaranteed 2.2% in 2 weeks. Guess what if the company price falls more, doesn't really matter, it's a great company at a great price. Just keep selling 10 covered calls until you eventually sell, even if that takes a year that almost 30% on the year, that's really good. This is investing JustJoey Style

@Joey Shaw when they do acquire it I may pick up some shares of it. I picked up another 10 shares of SOUN today.

@Joey Shaw I’m at 230 with an average of $8.06. I want to get 70 more to sell one call closer to the money and keep flipping those same shares until I can’t. The other 200 shares I’m selling $11-$15 CC’s. I do have enough money in my account to buy 70 more but it will almost put me at $0. Next month I will have an extra $1000 so I’m hoping it stays lower until then. I’d like to buy some shares for long term too.
Would you like to see a bi-weekly or monthly portfolio update?
Let me know if you'd like to see an update on what I am doing 1 or twice a month. I will alert the moves I make in between.

I would just because I like seeing people do good.
Remember Ownership and Consistency that is what matters.
Stacking ownership is the best way to build wealth. The wealthiest people don't sell their assets they buy more and leverage safely. Continue to build those position for 3-5 years and then do it again and within 10 years you have one heck of a foundation built. Then income can come from there. I can teach this once you get there.

@Joey Shaw let me use Ford as an example. You know I started buying on that big drop around $9.00. My average cost is 44 shares at $10.79. Share price is $12.53 right now. I wanted to get 100 shares to sell CC’s but I don’t want an average cost around $12 either because if price were to go back down selling CC’s wouldn’t pay. With that said, Ford isn’t going anywhere and I know it will always bounce back if it were to drop.

@Michael Krug just what I know I need to do, just can’t make myself do it.
GAIN
Hey Joey, I was going to call you but thought I'd talk about this in here for all to read. You know I have a dividend account. I started buying at a low and have for the most part been green and I hate averaging up so I don't do it often. I have 59 shares of GAIN with an average of $13.72. I'm up 16% which is $135. The dividend is $4.27 a month. It would take me around 30 months if I didn't buy any more shares to make $135. The question I have to ask myself is if I sell will it come back to or below my average cost to buy back in. My goal was/is to get 100 shares of every company I own and then let the dividend buy for me, but when I look at it this way It really makes more sense to sell and try to get back in. What are your thoughts? I'm open to anybody's and everybody's opinions.

@Joey Shaw I wanna say pullback to, but this stock market has been crazy the last couple months. I would like to see a pullback though to grab some more shares and get back in SOFI.

@Joey Shaw I thought about just jumping back in and still might. I'll just buy small unless it pulls back. I did roll my SOUN CC today to $11 May 8 and I sold the same one.
