Who's got music on Spotify? Drop your links here!
Who's already releasing music on Spotify (or other DSPs)? Drop your links, I want to hear where everyone is at sonically right now. Also, let's start leveraging this circle of like-minded producers and musicians!I love finding new music, and the more stuff you can tell the algorithm you like, the more good stuff Spotify recommends- I want to know what y'all are making. My personal playlists need new sounds. I'm a fan of lots of electronic music, rock, metal, pop, and hip hop/rap personally, so if you make any of this, I wanna hear it! Pro tip- 30 seconds counts as a stream. Spotify likes when people "like" a song or save a song to your playlist. These are positive signals, so if you're vibing you know what to do. Skips, or less-than-30-second plays are negative signals to the platform, so let's all try not to do give Spotify negative signals, even if you're not into the music people are sharing.

@Dom Apollon Thank you so much man, I'm happy you enjoyed it. Yeah it is in many ways more of a sizzle reel than a trailer, because the film is a work in progress and I created this looking for a producer and further funding. I used a few different analog synths including one from 1978- the Roland Paraphonic 505, some different delay pedals and vocal duplicators, and recorded and mixed it all in Pro Tools. High end distortion on phone
Hi everybody, listening to my revised mix on my phone and I hear a lot of issues, but the one that is most prominent is distortion in the high end. I've composed a piece with mainly an old vintage analog string synth- which makes the most beautiful sounds, but as I've pumped up some of the violinesque sounding synths they've begun to distort pretty terribly on playback through the iphone. I'm expecting it to be less than perfect on that device but this is clearly something that needs attention. Any and all suggestions and thoughts on this are so very welcome. Thank you! Metering
I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on metering plugins. Admittedly I realized pretty damn quickly that so much of my mix is way too loud for mastering purposes, so that's what I'm putting my attention to at the moment. Wondering people's thoughts on the most precise representation for free to very affordable...Thank you!
