I seen this angel that I wanted to do and bought the pattern, unfortunately all I had was red thread but can't wait to see how it turns out. So far I'm on the skirt of it.

Last post today!! Doily itself is complete! I prefer to steam silk over washing. Next up is motifs. I like daisies for this light blue background! What do you think?

I did a simple sc foundation going around the border. It is a 4 sc in loop 1 sc in dc stitch or single space around. Will follow this with a picot border next!!
