How would you recycle this stash?
I just listed something fun in the shop — 77 packages of vintage Wrights lace hem tape, mostly unopened, in the most gorgeous array of colors! And I want to throw out a creative challenge — what would YOU make with these? Upcycle ideas welcome! Bonus points for the most creative answer. Grab the whole lot for just $49 with free continguous USA shipping. https://www.londas-sewing.com/product-page/vintage-wrights-lace-hem-tape-and-seam-binding-lot-of-77-packages-mostly-unopene

I recently acquired a shoe-box full of unused hem lace and narrow bias tape, during a stash swap. I have ideas for the bias tape, but no ideas for the lace trim yet. Now I'm thinking I could weaving them together to make "fabric" sections. Maybe then could use as pillow coverings or outer layer of a shoulder bag.

Another idea for the lace is to make a "hula" style skirt with long strands of lace. Something that a little child would have fun dancing and twirling around in. Or even an adult who needs something light-hearted and fun to brighten their day!
