I came to New Braunfels a few weeks ago with an order to get out of a DV situation & give my youngest a stable foundation. This blessing would help me bring my storage unit current thus allowing me to get all the stuff I had for my son that I could reuse for my daughter & be able to cover the weekly expenses that comes with being a single mother such as diapers, milk, wipes etc until I'm able to find remote work from home or something reliable to bring in an income. *What is your life motto/scripture/quote? Whether that quote I believe in was to give positive light to a negative situation or I really believed it Idk but coming to NB I only had the person whom opened their house to us long-term. I was definitely scared but had to accept. Luckily I found this group and it's been blessing in more ways then one. *Share a personal goal that you want to accomplish that could upgrade your life? My personal goal is to navigate this journey as a single mother with a positive attitude & get to were I was once emotionally, mentally and physically so that I can stand on my own again for my youngest two children.

Hey friends! I appreciate all of you who have sent prayers and checked in on me. @Evelina Solis asked for an update and I want to say that I am so grateful to have this community of women who genuinely care. Thank you! Last Tuesday I had my gallbladder removed and then Thursday, they went back in and removed two stones from my bile duct. It’s dangerous for them to be there bc they can cause pancreatitis and liver failure. But, they’re gone now! Phew! I am sore but recovering well. On Saturday, we moved mom from the hospital to a home like setting that provides 24/hr care and allows the hospice services (nurses, chaplains, social workers etc) to tend to her there. It’s a b beautiful place and we feel truly blessed to have secured a spot for her here. It’s called ABODE and is in San Antonio off 410. I’ve stayed here every day and night. We thought she was transitioning last night but mom is still with us today. We anticipate she will go to be with Jesus in the next couple of days. If you still have your momma in your life, give her a hug, tell her you love her. ❤️
