Congrats @Takayuki Watanabe well done! 🥳
Add on to my introduction
It's been a few days since I introduced myself here. Now I'd like to share my favorite workhorses. It's my Gretsch 14"x4,5" Round Badge. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0_6c-o-64A) And after following Anthony's recommendation, I love the snare even more: I put on a Kentville Kangaroo head on and finally the sound is amazing. Thanks for the recommendation, Anthony. I can only pass it on. The other Snare is a custom made snare I use with sticks. Is build by Pommes Pommerenke, Berlin, who's a brilliant Drum maker.

@Markus Nickmann Hi Markus, as I wrote, it's a matter of taste. I really felt in love with the original rail mounting (new ones use modern hardware) and hardware as soon as I saw it first time. Broadcaster is a wooden mix and lighter than USA Custom and sounds a bit opener (resonant) wich I really love. As you saw, I play my Gretsch Anniversary kit wich is a rebuild of the Birdland series and contains 6-ply shells. (Broadcaster 3ply) But, in a nutshell: There are hardly any drums on the market that come closer to the sound of the early years than Gretsch Broadcaster (20'er Swing and Jazz) and Birdland which represents a bit more the sound of the mid/late 50's for Be Bob, Rock'n'Roll.

Let's get to know each other! Comment below sharing where you are in the world, a photo of your favourite snare drum, and something you like to do for fun. 😊 I'll go first - I live in Melbourne Australia, my favourite snare is the Gretsch 2mm Copper 14x5 (with Kentville Kangaroo Head) and I love long-distance running 🏃‍♂️

Good evening, I’m Ralph Jensen, living in Northern Germany. I love to play the Great Gretsch Sound with my 125 th Anniversary Be Bob Set. As I start my studies with Anthony I feel far beyound my comfort zone, but I really enjoy this challange. I‘m the founder of Studio Chevyteddy in Lübeck/Germany and enjoy my work with all the musicians around. I‘m happy for new contacts and colab as well. It‘s a really exciting voyage I started now with my pair of brushes 😊🙃

@Simon Schwarzenbach Really nice Set Up. Espacially the integration of Perc in your setup. Would love to hear it in action.
My current favorite snare drum
Bearing Edge. I remember reading about this boutique, one man drum maker in Modern Drummer many years ago. He machined the brass lugs himself. I was able to buy a kit second hand several years ago. As a bonus, the bass drum is a cannon!

How to move up levels?
Hey friends, a few of you have asked me how to move up levels. As you may have noticed, you all start on level 1 and you have limited access to some of the courses on the Classroom tab. The only way you earn points is when other members like your posts or comments. 1 like = 1 point. Higher level = more access. It is setup this way to encourage engagement and build the overall positive vibe that I wish for this group. Want to know a quick way to get more likes? Comment on other members' comments in any post (or below) and the likes will start rolling in.

Then hopefully the comments will be worth just as much as the points. Unfortunately, this can very quickly lead to a flood of comments. I‘m really looking forward for a really interesting and exciting way of learning.
