Feels like a good place to start here. What stands out when you think back? A funny moment? A stressful one? Who was easier to drive with — and why? Was it smooth… or a bit chaotic? No judgement. Just real stories.
I remember, during lessons, going to different spots, my driving instructor asking me to put the car in park and list hazards in the area. He told me these were the usual stops that ICBC Examiners made during tests so practicing this would help. I tried so hard to memorize at least 8 (blind spot, driveway, fire hydrant, etc.) that I wasn’t even actually thinking about hazards or what the words mean, just regurgitating what we talked about. I wish we worked more on practical things and that my instructor would have prioritized learning rather than memorizing in order to get my N. By the way, I went on to fail my N test twice.
